I ordered my Rx refill on 09/08/23 on the app. I never received notification that it was ready. I checked the app on 09/12/23 and it did not show I had an order for that Rx. I tried to call the pharmacy but was on hold for 20 minutes before I finally had to hang up. On 09/13/23 I called and ordered the refill via the phone (no person, automated). I was told by recording that it would be ready for pickup by 6:30 pm. I arrived at the drive-thru after 6:30 and was told it was not ready because they did not have pharmacy techs come in that day to fill them. I was told it would be ready the next morning. Now skeptical, I called the next morning on the way to work and the recording said it would be ready after 3:00 pm. I went by after work at 6:00 pm and the drive-thru line was wrapped around the building and I did not have time to wait. I came back at 10:00 pm and the drive-thru line was again long so I tried to go inside but there was a sign that the inside counter for the pharmacy was closed due to staff shortage. (Additionally there was a sign that the store was closed due to staff shortage...this is a 24-hour store and pharmacy). I waited in the line for 45 minutes only to be told at the window at 10:45 pm that it was still not ready but would be ready the next morning. FINALLY, the following morning I received a text that it was ready and when I returned at 5:30 that afternoon, I was able to get my medication. A full week after I had tried to order the refill! This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable! I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere. I had moved from another CVS to this one because the hours at the other one kept getting cut due to staff shortages. I thought a 24-hour location would be more on top of maintaining staff but that was not the case. At the least, they should answer their phones and let people...
Read moreI would like to say thank you to Dr Abby at the CVS 222 Bardstown Road Louisville Kentucky 40205, for being a kind, wonderful and caring individual who truly chose a profession that would allow her to help as many people as possible.
Dr Abby and her team at this CVS truly care about everyone that comes in. We have tried several pharmacies over the past 30 years and CVS at this location makes us feel like we're part of the family.
I would strongly urge everyone to give this CVS at this location a try and see what you think. You're greeted when you come in the main door and then when you get back to the pharmacy they greet you by first name once they get to know you. And they truly care I recently went in and was having trouble finding an over-the-counter product not only did Dr Abby tell me where the item was located, she said Chief let me come out I'll walk with you and I'll show you. She read the bottle and told me that there was something better than what I was looking for at a cheaper price.
How many people pharmacist / doctors do you know that would do that. This Pharmacy is a 10 out of 10 and their employees match...

Not only did they not fill my prescription in a timely manner, but I was told that their floating Pharmacist, Ricky, didn't understand their delivery policy. She said she would send it out with a technician then she did not. Hours later she said when she ended her shift at 8:00 p.m. she would deliver it herself. One lie stacked on top of another.
The Manager on Duty, Shaun, instead of making it right offered up a weak apology that did absolutely zero to help my pain and suffering. Rather than doing anything, he became complict in what I find to be inexcusable negligence. The standard duty of care was completely absent.
I started this process around 12:30 p.m. and I was offered a Monday delivery as a solution.
