We arrived at the restaurant at 1145am for brunch and checked in for a party of 8. After waiting over an hour to be seated, we finally were at a table. The waitress took our drink orders, and a few of us ordered the lavender lemonade. It was an additional hour before we received our food, at which time, the drinks were half-way consumed with not much left to be able to enjoy with the food since there was such a long delay in receiving it. Our waitress was not attentive to us, and we hadn't seen her much throughout our dining experience. I had to flag a different waitress down and asked if we could have a complimentary refill on the lemonade since it took so very long between the time that the drink was delivered and the time that the food was received, considering the fact that this is also coming off of an hour's wait to be seated in the first place. The waitress returned to our table advising that the manager declined the refill. I ended up paying $90 for my ticket (not including the amounts that everyone else in my party paid), and I even tipped the absentee, unattentive waitress although I was not pleased with her service. I am very disappointed at this because it was Mother's Day, and although it is not customary to refill specialty drinks, I believe that there should have been an exception to this rule since I would not have ordered my drink as soon as she took the drink orders if I had known I would have to wait a whole hour for my food to arrive. I tried calling the location to discuss this with the manager (simply to express my disappointment, etc.) the next day, but she upheld her stance and repeated to me the words she used with her employee concerning the request. She told me that she told her waitress, "I told her ABOSLUTELY NOT..." which floored me that she didn't mind repeating the nastiness verbatim. So, we waited an hour to be seated, waited an hour to receive the food, was not checked on by the waitress, and when I ask for something as simple as a top off on the watered down lavender lemonade (considering my ticket was $90, which is close enough to $100 in my eyes...), I was declined- on Mother's Day of all days, when we were being extremely patient and understanding for the delays, etc. to some extent... Definitely not a happy camper and definitely will not be patroning this location ever again... With rude nasty unconcerned management and unattentive waitstaff, I'll take my money...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis First Watch location is simply the best. I was watching Friends with the wife the other day and I said "that Rachel chick is not as nice as the Rachel from First Watch" and she agreed. If you don't believe me ask her. If my wife says I didn't say that she's lying again. I still love her though. But not as much as the traditional breakfast at first watch. It's called traditional for a reason! I get it every time now. It's a tradition. Which in turn is ideal as it is aptly named and has a touch of irony and a circle of life feeling. Did I tell you that Rachael is the best first watch manager ever! Oh and if I didn't spell your name right not sorry as my wife should have fixed it. Also, did I leave my brown sauce there again? Also, all your staff are fantastic! They flow around at a good speed. Not too fast as to trip over and smash things to a thunder of sarcastic applause to onlookers, and not too slow that I have to use a stop action camera. The only thing I could really say to improve the place would be to clone Racheal and/or stop asking of everything is ok with the food. I mean.. would it not be more efficient for me to tell you if it isn't? Like when my wife says... Do you love me? I say.. I told you I did 5 years ago didn't I? If anything changes I'll let you know. I highly recommend first watch for this location specifically. One time I heard that Rachael wasn't there for a while. I kinda already guessed as I went in there one day and everyone was crying and looked absolutely miserable. They were walking too fast, smashing things and muttering under their breath " we miss Racheal".. I also heard creepy laughter from the kitchen a few times and what sounded like the Jaws theme tune on a few occasions. All...

BUTā¦..
I come here at least once a week. When I come alone, I get the ājust one treatmentā
āJust oneā when greeted. Yep. Iāll take the looser walk now thru the restaurant to the worst table in the room. Hostess tries to sell it as a view of everything. Yep. Have a great view of kitchen, wait station, fresh coffee cups out of dishwasher, high chairs return / wipe area AND everyone walking to and from the restroom talking on their phones.
I understand if it was the only table available but that wasnāt the case. In fact, the gentleman to my left was seated at a table for 4 and was a party of one. I ask for another table and got attitude from the hostess with a sweeping condescending arm of pick any table you want. Bad hostess bad bad. (Scolding finger waving)
Eggs Benny are always delicious but make sure to ask for extra Benny sauce.
Changed my mind. Itās 4. Guess what. The hostess was the manager. Another finger wave. Stop selling that table as the best in the house especially when there were 10-12 1 and two tops and no one was sitting there. Itās not my perception, itās what happens to party of 1 too often. ITS NOT THE BEST TABLE IN THE HOUSE.
