For years now, I have had a piece of jewelry that I needed gold plated along with a sad non - working silver carriage clock and a pocket watch that is about 350 years old that needed a code blue to get working.
I took the ensemble to Swiss Connection for rescuing and shocking back to life. I should add that the clock was commemorating the wedding between Charles and Diana. It needed tearing apart cleaning and plated with silver. Same for the pocket watch.
The Swiss Collection folks gently alleviated my anxiety (lol) and took on the Herculean task. I am absolutely delighted with the results - All of the times looked fantastic and worked healthily.

Read moreI can't speak to their ability to fix watches as I did not use their service, but I brought in a vintage Timex I had gotten on ebay to see if a middle position was supposed to be on the crown to set the date. After a quick 2 min look and basic google review the guy offered me $300. When I called him back to inform him of my “quick research “ , he tells me he didn’t realize it was 14k gold, when that was the first and last thing I said. Honestly I think it’s a scam or some sort of fraud . I assume their watches are over priced. I will not be back based in the lack of attention to detail and consideration.
Look at there reviews… there is a review from Ethan Shaw -2008 movie Eagle Eye… hey use them for repairs probably over priced. But this is just...
