I went to the Jax location in West Loveland at the old Kmart. I was going there to buy a trailer because their online inventory is terrible and doesn’t show what they actually have at the location. I found three trailers that there I was considering, two of them were Karavan 6x12 and one Temco. The two karavans had issues. One was missing a light and the other the four pin connection was gone. Both had a manufacturing date of 2021 so basically a model year 2022. Both had old tires that were basically two years old and the wood was weathered and sun beaten after sitting in their lot for the past two years. I couldn’t buy either one of those because they had no one to even make them roadworthy and they were not in the best condition. The Temco was very similar with a manufacturing date of 2021 so model year 2022. The tires were basically already two years old and the wood was weatherbeaten. I will say this one was the trailer I preferred and in roadworthy condition, but they were selling it as new and it came with no warranty and was selling new but “as is”, which didn’t seem right to me. Anne The manager was friendly and trying to help out, but any discounts had to done by the owner, which the owner was unwilling to do. I was really disappointed that these were old trailers even though they were selling them as new and charging new prices. They definitely were not based on their condition and needed some work, including replacement tires because of sitting in the sun and dry rot. Honestly, it’s one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Jax lost a customer, and I will tell as many other people as I can about this poor and...
Read moreJAX loveland west location is just as good as the flagship fort collins site is. Archery, fishing, baby chick's and ducklings, toys snacks, clothes for everything from farming to welding to surplus military and even hiking or camping gear, or self defense and training. You could shop just here for a decade and never need more than what's in the store, you can even buy an awesome trailer for camping or military 5 ton truck. There isn't a problem here with the homeless harassing customers, Destroying the bathroom, and sleeping in the tents like the one over by Sam's club and home depot on Eisenhower. No, this one is clean and the staff of super polite, much like every store they will help you at the drop of a hat and help point you in the right direction. Tool selection is wide and rarely do I need to search long to find what I need in terms of supplies. Great store, pets welcome, kids alright 7/10 because the parking lot is terrible...
Read moreThis store is nasty. I went to buy chicken food there today and there is mouse feces all through the livestock feed area, and bags spilled open on the shelves, which are stained with what I can only assume is mouse urine.
I brought it up to the section manager, who I thought was unaware, and he rolled his eyes and said "Yea, that's normal."
No, it is not normal to allow a rodent infestation to remain uncontrolled and to not clean up after it, especially in a store that prepares and sells food for human consumption. There are plenty of stores in town that manage to keep rodents out of their livestock feed and at least don't have their products for sale covered with...
