I’ve dealt with a lot of pharmacies all over the country and this Walgreens, by far, is the absolute worst.
I’m a nice lady. I’m polite. I put in so much effort to speak mindfully and kindly to every person I speak to. I know pharmacies are overwhelmed these days. I know the staff must be exhausted.
This place told me it would take days to get my medication in stock. It didn’t show up when I was told it would. I still couldn’t fill it. I ran out of my medication which is a big no-no. When I tried to ask questions to gauge whether to try a different pharmacy (which is a long process involving my doctor) I was just flat out hung up on. It was so unprofessional. If I had been upset or unkind, I’d understand. But I was just asking literally the most basic questions.
Another time, I placed a pickup order and when I got to the pharmacy drive through I was told that they didn’t have anything. I later called the store and they told me they had it the whole time and the pharmacy never even alerted them that someone was trying to pick up.
Not to mention that Walgreens charges 4x more for medication than what surrounding pharmacies charge.
I won’t go back. I didn’t believe the reviews. I thought “surely, it can’t be that bad.”

After calling to place my prescription refills 6 hours before I left to pick up my medications and being told that they would be ready in 45 minutes, I was told that they did not have one of the meds and to come back the next day (Saturday) or Monday. After I asked if I could get a partial refill, they said that it would take over 30 minutes to check, since they were very busy with vaccinations. When I went into the store after 15 minutes, since no one came to the pickup window to tell me if they had a partial refill or not, there were no customers in the pharmacy waiting to get vaccinations nor to pick up prescriptions. The lady on phone insists there's no refills. I'm like yeah I know it's a prescription. Needless to say I got nowhere. So I logged on to my online account and yup there's the prescription ready to be filled.
