The younger barista, who appeared to be of Asian descent, provided an exceptionally poor customer service experience today...so much so that I ultimately chose not to order a drink. From the start, she commented that the lavender drinks taste like essential oil, (I was gonna get that) and she stated "I hate when people ask if the drink is sweet because this is a coffee shop, its not gonna be dessert sweet"...
When I requested instead a shaken espresso with light ice, she began to argue and insist that the drink wouldn’t taste right "if you did light ice, it throws off the ratio and your drink wont be up to standard" I’ve never encountered a Starbucks barista who challenged a simple customization like that.
Additionally, when I inquired about the rewards point system, she responded, “Yes, if you have the barcode.” After pulling up my Starbucks app to scan and pay, she condescendingly remarked, “That’s a square that’s called a QR code.”

The first time I went to this starbucks, I ordered an ice coffee. It had roughly three pieces of ice in it, but over all wasn't too bad. The next two times I ordered a mocha Frappuccino. Both times there was hardly any flavor at all. It was mostly ice and no coffee. Different server each time. The drink tasted like coffee flavored water. The next (and last) time I went in, I ordered two strawberry banana smoothies for my son and I. First, they tell me I HAVE TO get a large because they changed the recipe, then pull out some kind of pre-made mix. The drink was watered down and tasted sour. I threw them away on my way out the door. Four drinks, and four disappointments. There is another starbucks about 2 miles away that has never failed to make my drink correctly. Unless you are dying, and coffee is the only cure, don't go here. Something so incredibly expensive should never be...
Read moreI truly like Starbucks but the experience I had this morning was not the best. 1st off the espresso machine is out of order. No signs stating it, the employee did not emphasize. Also, I order a cheese Danish but they don't a toaster to heat it. Which that should have been mentioned before purchasing it.
