Its not if something goes wrong that is the issue... its when something goes on how it is handled. Have done business with Joseph A Banks for over 30 years... Always had Great Customer Service, until our doing business brought us to the Loveland, Colorado Retail Store. Issues were created regarding alterations and fit of suits, sport coats and pants originally bought on line, alterations done at the Stapleton Store, which were incorrect. Corporate suggested taking them to Loveland Store for corrections. Loveland store recommended that we go one size up on all suits, when the suits came it, too big to alter down. Then covid hit in the mix, things got delayed. Then able to continue the process, had to deal with Store Manager Neil at the Loveland store. His arrogant, non cooperative, I don't give a care what you and corporate agreed upon started with the initial phone call to make an appointment to get the ball rolling again. End result was that he kicked me out of the store, threatened to call the police if I did not leave. He did agree to do a few of the alterations and after a few weeks of not hearing back about the alterations, I called and talked with one of the associates, she said, she had to talk to Neil and would call me back. No return call. So I started calling and no one would answer the phone. Actually I called 103 times and no one answered the phone. This is how much Neil values quality, top rate, customer service - they won't return a phone call or answer the phone to answer a simple question. The end result of this total experience at the Loveland store is that I am not welcomed back in the store because they do not have a manager who can conduct himself in a professional adult style manner. Therefore, when I talked to corporate last, to resolve the final issues, I asked about coming back to the store, I was told, "No." But, then it was suggested by corporate that I could set up an appointment to visit the store and they would arrange it so Neil would not be present. So, since I am not welcome in the store, JAB does not want my business. It is sad that a 30 year plus relationship is ended because of a store manager who has numerous negative reviews and or complaints. So buyer beware, if you shop at this store, it is highly likely you will receive poor customer service and maybe even kicked out of the store or have the police called on you. (If you check out the reviews, you will find another customer was told by Neil to leave the store or security...

We ended up going to Men's Wearhouse and not only did they do everything that took Jos A Banks AN HOUR AND A HALF to do during our set 'appointment' that they could not even complete, but Men's Wearhouse literally took care of us in 15 minutes! In and out the door in a simple and fun process. Sorry to say, but do not waste your time at this store!
First, my family has been shopping at Jos A Banks for decades, granted never at this location. Our experience today was atrocious! I set up an appointment to come in with my fiance and father to get their tuxedos for our wedding. When our family walked in and I said I had an appointment, the associate looked at me like I was crazy and literally said, "really...we do those?" It took us AN HOUR AND A HALF for two people to get measured and pick out attire for the bridal party. The female associate who was helping us was extremely sweet and I felt bad because I'm sure it was obvious that we were frustrated. However, I think there were only two people working at one point and she would just walk away to try to help other people who were waiting while we were in the middle of something and it was just really disorganized and confusing. After all that time and as we were wrapping things up, the tuxedo she showed us didn't come in black. Turns out it was actually blue even though it looked black in the picture and we were going to have to start all over again which we didn't have time for. After that much time, we unfortunately had to leave without finishing everything because we had another appointment. The associate said she'd have everything ready later in the day when they were less busy so my fiance and I decided to give it one more chance and made a second trip later in the day to try and finish everything. We stood in the store for ten minutes and not one person acknowledged us. They looked at us and saw us waiting multiple times, but didn't say hello or I'll be right with you or anything! Absolutely ridiculous! We were trying way too hard to be customers and they can't even say hello? We will be purchasing suits and tuxedos for our wedding elsewhere and never...
Read moreWe have used Jos A Banks for years in about 7 states. This was the first time we had horrible service. We have literally spent thousands of dollars with this chain. The man who helped us was only concerned with what he thought. He helped measure my husband and told him a size that felt way to small and uncomfortable. When we chose to try on additional sizes, he let us know that what he recommended was our best option. This was not the case. So we told him we had made a decision and he started going to the cash register. At this point my husband stopped him, and asked if he was going to measure for alterations. He told us it would take a month, so we said that was why we were there now because we knew they would need a pretty long lead time. He let us know that he was not happy with what we chose and that people change their minds, so he was going to send us home with an off the rack suit that had pants that werenât even hemmed. At this point my husband told him that we werenât going to get anything and walked out, this was not how my husband would normally respond. We have used this store previously and have never had this kind of treatment. The whole experience was really terrible. A person knows what feels comfortable to them and will not present well in a suit that is not what they wanted. I wish we had looked at reviews as it seems that this is typical treatment at this particular location. My husband was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt so that may have been what he had a problem with, but it was Sunday afternoon on a very hot day and my husband dresses up all week for work and this is how he dresses on a relaxing Sunday. I know I will never get him back to this location and Iâm worried he may abandon Jos A...
