Soma — Local services in Loveland

I went into Soma to buy a couple more bras of the same type because I had been wearing their wire free for years. This location was a complete disappointment in cleanliness stock and staff. They had very few larger sizes and were so disorganized they left me with options that were 3 sizes too small and blamed the box they were in. I was helped by a newer gal who was actually a wonderful saleswoman. I had already explained that usually the lack of success with big bras causes the experience to be traumatic for me. She understood and proceeded to try and accommodate me as my husband was taking me there for a holiday spree. Upon checkout we were going to order some and another sales woman with glasses and wavy brown hair stepped in. I asked to purchase later due to her scowl and if I could have the style info. She told me I could take a picture of it. I found this to be entitled, assuming, and lazy. I did not have a phone/camera. I have worked in retail and copied the correct style numbers many times for customers or even printed it off the register. The entire time I was in the other associates were doing wall sets and acted as though a customer was a burden. I will never return and my family will no longer patronize Soma online. It always feels like I'm in a fabricated reality when I park and get out of the car. There's music coming from the rocks. Upon entering the shop a different piece of music is playing brain farts a little bit and I tell myself not to notice it. I always do my online ordering returns in this shop. They carry my unusual size. When a woman asks to see all the bras in her size, make sure you bring them all out for her to see. Allow the shopper to decide what they want. I had an employee not show me an item thinking I may not want it. I felt that there was more in my size. Turns out there was one more style, and it was the exact item I wanted!!! Yeah for me and boo for the employee.. I'm just kidding she delivered and I'm super happy. Best thing is they are used to the unusual size thing and are very good at fitting any item in that shop It's clean inside the shop and changing rooms. The rooms have doors with wooden slots on them to open and pass items to your personal shop attendant. That's pretty cool. There are no servers here. I always find it difficult to find a good fit. They fit me after a few tries in some great bras and they weren’t frumpy, they are gorgeous. I’m very pleased, the customer service was exceptional. If you allow yourself to just let the experts help you - the experience will be rewarding.

Edit: I have thought about this quite a bit since my original five star review. I’m not sure whether the store is under new management, but the past few times I’ve gone, the initial girl who helped me has been shunted aside and the older ladies who offer to help now are often cold and sometimes outright rude. It’s a shame, because all the hard work the original sales girl did that made me only ever want to buy in store has been essentially undone. I still love the bras and underwear, but I only go in to try on new sizes (I’ve lose some weight and my bra size fluctuates quite a bit). It’s really...
