Food: We got the sampler plate for appetizer! The meat was packed with flavor and not too chewy. I loved the spanakopita, the pastry was amazing and the cheese filling was good. The baked pita chips were okay, but they were chewy and not as crispy as I’d have liked. I had the falafel gyro, I liked the tzatziki sauce, it had a good amount of sourness and refreshingness. I needed more falafels, they had only given me three, but they were delicious, crispy on the outside and spiced interior flavor. There was a lot of feta on it, maybe a bit too much for me. I had the pasta orzo for my side which was good, but sort of just tasted like tomato soup with orzo in it. The fries were good, very crispy, and good amount of salt! We had to try the baklava, because I love baklava, and this one did not disappoint, the honey was fully soaked into the phyllo pastry, and the middle section was good flavor too with the nuts.
Service: Our server was great, he was very attentive, and the food came out fast, and everyone seemed to be very happy working here.
Atmosphere: I liked the seating and the welcoming environment. The kitchen was visible to everyone which is always good to know. Not too loud here either but still busy.
Overall: Delicious!! I had a great time here and can’t wait to come back to try a few...
Read moreDo not visit this restaurant. Waitstaff charged our credit card 34.00 for our meal, and another 73.00 after we had left the restaurant. When calling the owner to ask why in the world we were charged 73 dollars separately without being informed, his response was, "this happens all the time, because of our banking system." (Owner Keri) I myself have worked as a manager in food service, and this is beyond unacceptable, on top of being a rediculous explanation for a random and expensive overcharge. We were in a habit of visiting this restaurant a couple times per week because we liked the food so much. Some members of the waitstaff as well as the kitchen are wonderful and very friendly. We've had trouble with a select few waitresses who are very unprofessional and quite honestly, seemingly clueless as to how to properly wait tables. Overall, i will not be visiting this restaurant ever again. We did not plan to spend over 100.00 on two meals, have an unprofessional waitress, then have to fight the unprofessional and excuse-filled owner about a refund. We can find good food many other places where staff is much more friendly and professional. I have never seen an overcharge situation by a restaurant handled so poorly. Especially when " it happens all...
Read moreWe ordered and ate our food. Our food was good but was ruined by the owner of the restaurant berating me in front an entire restaurant FULL of customers because I asked for our check. We waited 15-20 minutes for our check. NEVER GOT IT. We tried to make eye contact. Stand up to get his attention. Waved to get his attention. Nothing worked. He spent a lot of time at one table laughing and carrying on with a table of people who appeared to be his social network or frequent customers. He NEVER checked on our table after bringing our food. We got tired of waiting. I walked up to him while he was standing at this table of people who appeared to be within his social network. I whispered "Can we get our check, please?". He proceeded to advance me with his arm outstretched and his finger pointed at me as I was walking away and yelled "MA'AM, NEVER WALK UP TO ME WHILE I'M AT ANOTHER TABLE, NEVER!". I was shocked. Still am. His anger came out of nowhere and was in no way warranted. The people I was with told me he "lost his mind and would have been fired if he wasn't the owner". As we walked out of the restaurant, the entire dining room stared at us. This is the first time in my life that I have ever left a restaurant...
