I'm curious if anyone leaving these reviews actually READ the sculpture descriptions. This wasn't a lovely walk through a sculptural garden. It was a Sarah McLachlan video, only there was no place to contribute money to help anyone. Had I known going in, what the sculptures would be about, it would have been a very different trip. It would have been a hard education and insight trip. But these reviews are talking like it's a peaceful, inspiring place to be. Famine, starvation, getting rid of one of your twins because it was considered bad luck, drunken fathers on the floor, mother not being able to pick up her child anymore because he is too big, evil spirits causing bad luck... this didn't showcase life in Zimbabwe. It showcased the saddest, more depressing aspects of it and left us with an icky feelings. While I understand what it was aiming for, I feel it was a missed opportunity to show beauty, and hard work along with the struggles and sorrow. It was a walk through the sorrow garden, basically. Balance would have been nice. It makes Zimbabwe look like it's nothing but sorrow and darkness. There were a FEW that were happy, or inspiring. The rest was absolute dread. It felt like it did Zimbabwe...

What a lovely surprise. I didn’t know this was here. Smack in the middle of a shopping center (one I’ve been to 50+ times) On this day I had a few hours to spare in between appointments. Today it was on the warm side for autumn- I can’t wait to come back in the evening. This area has well maintained paved and unpaved paths, gorgeous ponds and nicely designed greenery. The statues were also unexpectedly heartwarming. Family, childhood, elders etc.. all the themes spoke directly to me. My 21 yo daughter wants to come back and take pictures with her “good” camera. These are just from my iphone. Bathrooms, parking, drinking water and benches for sitting. Each statue is worth a conversation.

A very relaxing sculpture park. We went when it was overcast and warm . We strolled 2 sections. A lot of nature to be seen. The Greeley -Loveland irrigation ditch runs through the park. It took about 40 minutes at a leisurely stroll. If going in Summer I would recommend an umbrella to help shade you. There is not much shade. And bring water. There are benches to sit. The ponds to the north we had the delight of seeing 5 frog's. Green frogs, not toads. And the pond has gold fish, Koi. Very relaxing and not too crowded. Interesting fact, this sculpture park was established in 1970.
