What a lovely surprise. I didn’t know this was here. Smack in the middle of a shopping center (one I’ve been to 50+ times) On this day I had a few hours to spare in between appointments. Today it was on the warm side for autumn- I can’t wait to come back in the evening. This area has well maintained paved and unpaved paths, gorgeous ponds and nicely designed greenery. The statues were also unexpectedly heartwarming. Family, childhood, elders etc.. all the themes spoke directly to me. My 21 yo daughter wants to come back and take pictures with her “good” camera. These are just from my iphone. Bathrooms, parking, drinking water and benches for sitting. Each statue is worth a conversation.

A little oasis. You'd never guess that there's a shopping plaza right next to it. Beautiful scenery, sculptures and trails. The trail is mostly paved with some gravel trails weaving through. Took my toddler to walk around and he loved it. Single user bathrooms are available at the entrance. They were clean and the women's stall did have a place to change baby if you need. Not busy at all and it's nice and quiet. Just be mindful of the tall grass. We are still in Colorado and there is wildlife around. There seems to be special events at times that may close off part of the park.

Super cool little park dropped in right next to a shopping city.. but you barely notice. The park is quiet and peaceful. There's a couple of trail options, all of which are easier walkable and should only take you a small amount of time to make the full trek. The sculptures are fascinating. I love seeing varied artists renditions of life during different times. Theres also bits of history info and FYIs suited throughout the park. Very cool to ready. If you're into history, art, small parks, or all of the above.. take some to check this one out.

This sculpture park is a gem in a place one would not expect to see a nice tribute to African culture. The art is truly incredible and worth seeing in this calm and serene park. The park has great walking trails along some water and great landscaping. I walked with the dog here several days in a row each morning and it was great for us both. I salute whomever designed this park and decided to put it in Loveland of all places being so rural heartland. Stop by for a stroll and observe the art.

Went there for the Winter Wonder Lights Event 2018 and the lights were very pretty. They did have a light show with the lights and music that was set to play together but sadly they decided to use a portable shower speaker for sound, or something like it. You could only hear the music for a few songs during the show. The show plays every 30 minutes, but hopefully they will do something about the sound quality. There are food trucks there and a couple of neat activities for kids.

As a first time visitor to Loveland, CO, we had noticed this very unique and beautiful sculpture park just minutes from our hotel. The african based sculptures were very pleasant to look at and provided excellent conversation pieces as we passed by each one. The detailed descriptions posted on each sign was a nice touch as it informed us of the story behind the statue. We loved this place so much we made multiple trips throughout our stay in Loveland!
