Update: The service has really declined. Asked for a refill on coffee, didn't get it. My son never received the side for his entree, my daughter's hashbrown casserole came out cold and the chicken and dumplings were so salty they were inedible. I asked our server if I could have a different side and her answer was "I'm sorry but I can't take that off your bill". That wasn't what I was asking for. I asked to switch it for something else. She took the chicken and dumplings back and returned with my replacment side and said it wasn't just me, other customers have also complained that they were too salty. I wondered, then why not start another batch & get rid of this mistake instead of continuing to serve it? They had no potatoes or sweet potatoes when we were there. I used to love this place. I hope things Improve but I won't be back for a while. Food is always good. On our most recent visit we decided to try some of their new items on their Barrel Bites menu. I was disappointed that they no longer have the syrups to make the flavored teas. They were really good and they should bring them back. Especially the peach! We tried the Watermelon lemonade, the Tater tot casserole with the dill ranch dipping sauce, and the Beignets with butter pecan dipping sauce. The watermelon lemonade was WAY too sweet for me. Tasted like liquid candy. My daughter said the flavor reminded her of a watermelon jolly rancher. If you like super sweet drinks, this is for you! Our favorite were the tots, Sooo good! Crispy, covered in melty cheese with bacon crumbled on top, whats not to like! We passed on the dill ranch for dipping. We tried it and thought it tasted like tarter sauce. Ask for a regular side of ranch instead. Their version of beignets were good for what they are, a CB version of beignets. They use their biscuit dough, fry them up and cover them in powdered sugar. Because it's buscuit dough and not traditional beignet dough, they're not airy and fluffy like traditional Beignets and had a little more salt taste than usual, but they're still good! The butter pecan sauce totally makes these, so don't skip on the sauce, it's so good I could drink it! The beignets were still soft on the inside (just like their yummy biscuits), crispy fried on the outside and dusted with powdered sugar. They were brought to the table still very hot and I enjoyed mine with some coffee. All in all I think they hit a 2 out of 3 with these items! Only because I didn't care for the watermelon lemonade, but that's just me. Check out these new items, you won't be disappointed!

After ice skating the day after Christmas 2022, we called to make a reservation. The lady Sara on the phone said you have to go to their website to make a reservation and there was a 40 minute wait. Their website was messed up and it took multiples of us trying to finally get a reservation and on their website, it said there was only a 5 minute wait. We got there 20 minutes later, there was no wait in line-- however we did have to wait 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. The service was good, our waitress was friendly. I ordered the trout with Mac n cheese and fried apples. The trout was good and so were the apples. The Mac and Cheese was dry and rubbery. 1 of us got chicken and dumplings--at least half of that was left when we left and she didn't want to take the leftovers home. 1 person ordered a salad with chicken. There was nothing left of that. The peach tea was yummy. High marks for that.

Okay...I domt know what's going on here. Last time I had a problem with my order, I got a four piece cod dinner and got only two pieces and a fish "nugget". It was clear to me that counting wasn't really important, that it seemed like two was "enough". So, they gave me a free meal voucher after I called them out. Fast forward to today. I ordered the two piece carfish dinner. This time, I recieved no huspuppies (which isn't that big of a deal to me) but for one of my sides, dumplins, not only was it a small amount, but it came with a surprise...two pieces of "meat". This tells me that quality control is non existent. It looked like sausage crumbles from the country gravy... I don't understand why prepping food is so difficult for the kitchen staff. What if I was a pescatarian? I sent an review bit it's obvious that they don't care to read it. 😠

I placed an online ordered yesterday (day before Thanksgiving) that included two meals and two individual desserts with a pickup time of 3pm. I arrived at 3:55 due to traffic and was eager to get the meals quickly so I could drop them off at my fathers house so he would have a meal for dinner and one for Thanksgiving the following day. Placing the order was very easy and I was pleased with the process. However, picking up the order was a different story. I went inside the restaurant to pick up the order but the host instructed that I need to take my car to the back of the building and wait in line behind all the other cars (no signage to direct people where to go). Upon entering the line, a young girl asked for my name (mind you this was done 4 different times) and with the 1st approach she stated my order was ready and would be loaded once they finish the 4 cars ahead of us. As we patiently sat and waited, we witnessed one employee walking out to individual cars with one or two items at a time (very inefficient process). We noted that it took about 15-20 minutes for just one car to get their complete order. As we got closer, again my car was approached and we were told they were packing up one more thing for our order (this process was repeated 3 different times with three different explanations ā€œmaking one more biscuitā€, ā€œone more sideā€ and lastly ā€œI apologize for the wait but they had to remake the dumplings because a hair was in the food, can I get you a full pumpkin pie for your troubleā€ At this point it is now 4:55pm (an hour had passed since our arrival and we have yet received our food). The pick up process is highly inefficient, poor communication (I don’t like excuses) and sloppy. The girl placed it on the seat of my car (I pulled over to place it on the floor to avoid it spilling over). My biggest disappointment was that a manager never came out to explain the holdup or to apologize and try to make things right. Instead, She had her young teenage employee deal with all the angry customers. And to top it off, once I arrived at my Fathers house and unpacked the food, they forgot the desserts I originally ordered but put a whole pumpkin pie in the bag instead. I definitely will never order takeout from this...

This was my first time in over 10 years visiting the Cracker Barrel and it was so disappointing. Our waitress was a younger lady named Shayna and I personally feel she would be better suited as a food runner. She was the hostess and our waitress so our drink order was taken quickly and we received our 2 unsweetened ice teas quickly, now our check in time was 7:18pm and they we’re definitely over staffed and not busy. We looked over our menu’s fairly quickly and sat for another 15mins before our order was taken. I could see our waitress walking around and helping the other 2 tables she had, one lady was sat after us and received her meal before our orders were taken. We placed our order we ordered the Grandma Breakfast and the Biscuits Benny meal I saw they had fried pickles and ordered those as well, they looked so good and I wanted to try them. Well food comes and it’s not impressive but it is honestly a $12 dollar meal so I was not expecting too much but my pickles never came, never were mentioned nothing. I would have said something about them if my waitress Shayna would have check on us but she came back to give us the check. I did double check we were not charged for them and we were not, she admitted to never putting the order in for them. Just over all bad service. Over all I will not recommend this location simply because of our bad waitress I will however recommend the store. They had adorable decorations and it was super cute. But the food and service are a heck nooo just avoid it. Shayna definitely gets a F from me and if I would have had dollars bills I would have left less then the $5 dollars tip on my $31...
