There weren't as many clothes for me as there were for teenagers. So many clothes for high schoolers, especially girls. You know people that are out of high school wear clothes too right Macy's? I did find a couple of things but mostly was disappointed with the quantity overall of clothes at Macy's and the quality of clothes there. For instance, I was looking for clothes made of only cotton or linen. I found a long sleeve button cotton shirt, and thought great but once tried on find that at the bust it gapes open because there isn't a button there. (Higher quality clothes pay attention to those details.) Most clothes had polyester or rayon, even t -shirts. Also there were a lot of prom dresses or special occasion dresses that are meant to show a lot of skin. Not dresses you can really wear many times. I found one that sort of fit me but the straps were itchy. And there was an annoying tag that said Macy's wouldn't take it back if the tag was removed.

Is this what Macy's is lowering themselves to???? This Is pretty ridiculous if you ask me... Your 1.2 Billion last year just want enough huh?? you guys are so hard up for cash you that you will trick the customer into believing that you are having a "sale" when in reality your simply Raising the MSRP price Tag of your "Sale" items. So that it looks like your giving the consumer a 20,30,40% etc. Deal when really their paying the same price if not more... this is wrong and you deserve to be penalized for this inconsiderate Greedy move... Great Job Macy's Corporation... You did the consumer dirty once again to keep your profits 📈 by or above $1B a year ... America 🇺🇸

Walk in and several salespersons were there to greet us with big smiles eagerly wanting to direct us to the area where we were pleasantly waited on and helped us find exactly what we wanted even though we didn’t know the name of the cologne (Chanel COCO Mademoiselle) thanks we will be back ❤️

This review is for one of the managers at this Macys location, her/their name is Cherek. Was waiting for a customer survey to fill out but did not see one.

I was shopping in person at this store, and later the same day saw online there was a significant pricing discrepancy for the exact same item between in store and Macys online . The item was on sale online but not in store. This was weird to me because you would think these days to promote in person shopping and support local stock, that you would offer in store only sales instead since everyone can shop online and shipping always seems to be free. That would also decrease the chance of returns/ wasted merchandise. I later learned this price issue was a bug that wasnt viewable on the store end. So while that was a tech error, i was disappointed because i had to spend additional time going back to the store as macys customer service online or over the phone would not help me with a price adjustment, i had to go back in person the same day to get the price fixed. I wanted to avoid returning the item(s) entirely to reorder online at the lower price because that frankly just seems wasteful given so much returned merchandise ends up in landfills.

While this was highly annoying and ultimately seems to be a Macys online/ digital customer service issue, Cherek was amazing to work with and ultimately solved my issue. I could even tell while she was working on my problem, Macys online customer service which even she had to contact to deal with my issue- seems to be the root of the problem. Value your in-person employees because they are the ones that solve problems and actually get stuff done! Ultimately macys corporate/ online assistance seems to be a mess but Cherek handled everything with so much kindness, patience, urgency, and grace. Did i mention patience? She truly deserves a raise, or a promotion, or both. Customer service and customer facing roles are honestly really tough jobs. Finding legitimately good customer service is becoming increasingly rare. Great employees are at this store despite macys online being a mess. I ultimately left the store happy to have my problem solved, but especially so happy and surprised by such a positive customer service experience. Cherek is an expert in...

They have become very good at selling you things that you did not pick out. I went to the store to check out beds on the show room floor. I decided to buy one. They assured me that there would be no difference between the twin size they had on the floor and the queen size I ordered to have delivered. Upon delivery the people delivering my bed were very hasty to drop it off and left with my old mattress. They were so quick that by the time I realized it wasn't the bed I looked at on the show room floor they were gone. I called Macy's and after getting disconnected twice and waiting 45minutes I was told that it was infact "the bed" I selected from the show room floor. This bed I had delivered was single sided and far more jenky. They told me that queen size beds don't come double sided so the sales woman on the show room floor had LIED TO ME. I wanted my old mattress back but the delivery people were too lazy to turn around and fix their mistakes. My wife convinced me to give the bed a chance so I did. A year later the bed started falling apart so, again, I had to call Macy's. It took them 3months to get a "furniture specialist" to measure my bed. There was an inch and a half depression were I slept and it was being covered up by the "pillow top." So after three weeks, no one called so I called. Again I got disconnected after waiting. I Called them back to get some lady at the the end of her pitiful rope telling me, "well someone should've called you. Oh well! You probably just didn't answer." And then after that, she said my bed passed inspection parameters and implied that I was crazy. I tried to maintain my cool and explain that this bed is destroying my back and it wasn't what I even purchased on the showroom floor. She then decided to let me know that had I been able to get a new bed, I'd be able to get a better selection. She was essentially taunting me and making fun of my misfortune. This lady like much of the staff employed at Macy's display a conniving and apathetic demeanor. The company dress code hardly mirrors their...

I typically have a great experience shopping here, but today was an exception. I came into the store at around 7:30pm today, 7/15/19, and noticed two workers talking and both looked at me as I walked into the store, but neither acknowledged me. One worker was from the jewelry department and the other, Michaela, was from the shoe department. I immediately went to the store department and spent about 10 minutes looking around and there was only one other customer who arrived in the shoe department after me.

This entire time, Michaela did not make a single effort to ask if I needed any assistance. Once she decided that she was done talking with her coworker, she went to help the other lady, not one, but two times and still she did not even acknowledge me with a simple “hello”. She event went out of her way to toss a shoe box right next to me on the bench that I was sitting on while I tried on shoes and she still did not say a word to me. I felt like I was not welcomed and invisible due to Michaela being unwilling to assist me. I asked Michaela if I would be able to purchase the in-store shoes online and she replied as if I was bothering her telling me that everything in the store should be online. I asked for information on customer care to discuss my concern and instead of offering me the information, she told me that I could find everything online. I let her know my concern with not being acknowledged during my visit in a respectful way. I even told her to have a great day as I was leaving. As I was leaving, I overheard her talking to the other customer about my concern and being very rude and disrespectful about me. I am astonished and disheartened my experience here today. Michaela acted as if she had no care or regard for my concern. This seemed to be the case since she took it upon herself to also negatively discuss me with another customer. I am not sure how comfortable I would be ever...
