Update:I did call the suggested information below, and they were still less the helpful. I'm not a nasty person, but when you get rude with me, I will get rude back. I get the policy is 21 years of age, and after searching like crazy, I finally found the policy on your site - but that does not negate the fact I did the responsible thing and called ahead of time and was told 18 years of age. The fact you could not and refused to even entertain the idea of making an ex exception is absurd! You need to put a birthday requirement on your checkout page, to ensure people understand their age limitations. What do you do for college students traveling? Believe it or not, kids travel before the age of 21, and some are exceptionally successful young adults... Quit profiling!
Unreal! We called PRIOR to booking this room for our kids. They are 20 years old, and taking a small vacation from Wyoming. We were told the age for booking a room was 18 years old. My son and his friend drove 5 hours and now have nowhere to stay. The manager Joe, was less than helpful, refusing to offer any kind of help, and profiled these kids saying because of their age they could cause issues with partying. My kids want to go buy a set of golf clubs - not party! I offered my credit card and was still told no. I am pulling every single one of my account, and every single work account I have with Hampton Inn. They have NO CLUE what type of business they just lost! Cheyenne Frontier Days and not one room available within a 100 miles. And to be told prior to booking the age limit was 18 and they aren't honoring it?! Yea, you lost business! Just an FYI - I called Comfort Suites in Loveland, and their manager made the exception. Guess I know where I'll be staying...
Read morePros: |- The bed was comfortable and the alarm clock had nice charging capabilities. |- Walking distance to Target and several food options. |- The included breakfast was convenient and better than a motel.|- Palatable coffee in the room, and in the lobby.||Cons: |- Their computer system did not seem to process my change via Expedia to move one of my rooms from Saturday night to Friday night, even though my room confirmation confirmed my change. |- They almost gave me someone else's room who had the same first name because of this. That would have sucked for that person! Fortunately they still had another available room (probably because I booked it?). |- Please note that the receptionist made sure to let me know that all of this was my fault, despite the fact that I had confirmations and had paid the difference when I changed the reservation.|- They charge for parking.|- Seriously, they charge for parking. |- At no point did they ask us if we had cars, they just charged us for parking.|- The room was adequately clean. However, there was either a blood stain or red wine stain on the bathroom wall. We played a game called "drunk or murdered?" the entire weekend.|- We stayed for 2 nights but housekeeping skipped our room. Not a big deal, just weird considering that there is a QR code to tip the housekeeper displayed prominently in the room.|- They told me they would remove the parking charge, but did not. I had to call again after the charge posted and talk to another hostile receptionist (maybe the same one who made checking in so unpleasant? No...
Read moreStay here again? Probably not.. First of all they messed up my reservation as well as the gentleman checking in ahead of me. I booked a day in advance online as I was traveling in from 200 miles away. When I arrived to check in the lady acted like it was up in the air if they would even had a room for anyone due to some regulation where they can't access rooms for 72 hours after a guest checks out (as a guest making a reservation online this is not my problem. If the room isn't available I shoudn't have been able to reserve it in the first place). I had to settle for a differen't room than I had reserved and she basically told me it was that I could "go find a room at a different hotel if you want to" - unacceptable. I decided to just take what they had available and made my way to my room (elevators out of order). Went into my room to get settled and found stains on my bedspreads, hairs in the sheets and tub, trash on the bathroom floor, and a greasy head stain in the headboard of one of the beds. I usually find Hampton Inn's as excellent hotels but this experience was a joke. I called around to find another room but couldn't find anything so I cleaned my own room and finished my stay. I will not be staying here again and advise anyone who has reservations in the future to call prior to check in to make sure your room us even...
