I was born and raised in NE Loveland by a work from home software engineer-turned retired drink alone dad and an antisocial teacher of the blind-turned retired antisocial tv watching mom, who somewhere along the way through neighbors or whatever, began to only eat out rarely at "fancy" restaurants, though we have never been fancy people, but I had never heard of this place 🙃, I have health and food restrictions, but have recently found that the more down to earth and casual the restaurant, the better the food tends to be! This place was phenomenal as my dad and I stopped in after visiting my mom in hospital after a few rough weeks of recovery post brain surgery and stroke during recovery. The folks who we met were EXTREMELY kind, welcoming, and gave extreme compassion for our situation. We have never experienced such down to earth, comforting, enjoyable, welcoming atmosphere in town, and usually remember such experiences when visiting towns with historic saloons, so this was incredible and gave me a new place to add to my "can eat without health reactions" list, which is short for Loveland. Jess was incredible and despite the busy time we were there, she served us as promptly as possible with refills and orders, and was extremely kind and personable as well! Sam and his wife Caroline are extremely down to earth and made us feel immediately included in the fun! It's not like one of those restaurants where the "regulars" are clearly separate from the "newbies", everyone is welcomed and treated with respect, kindness, great service, great food, great drinks, and a fun visit! I had the green chili cheese fries, the cheese sticks, and a chicken quesadilla, and my dad had the green chili, all...
Read moreThe Office Bar & Grill is a family owned business and has been around since the 70's. Great atmosphere, food and drinks for an affordable price! Never had a bad meal or service here. As for Sara Harris' ridiculous review below this...She arrived to the Office on a Saturday at 12:05pm. Anyone who goes here as often as she was, knows the place gets slammed and the kitchen closes after brunch (12pm) for 30 minutes, so they can clean and prepare for lunch. The waitress immediately informed her of this and Sara said it was fine and that she just wanted a rum and coke. Shortly later, she ordered a second drink. 20 minutes later, she flipped out when she saw food being taken to a table and slammed her phone down on her table. The owner and waitress approached her as she screamed that she wanted food. Food and a third drink were ordered. Sara claims on other reviews that she was harrassed by a customer. She wasn't harassed, he went up to her and asked her not to slam her phone. A few minutes later, she became so irrate that she slammed her drink down on the table and it shattered everywhere. She walked out on her bill and flipped everyone off in the restaurant on her way out. Then she proceeded to write horrible reviews all over the internet. Grow up! Stop trying to bring a business down because you want to act like a child. The owners and staff are good people and don't need to deal with...
