We're going to use this long-winded response to try to convince existing and potential customers that we're actually providing a needed service, but again, we really don't care what you want."
Was shopping for termite service and got Jim on the phone. Big ole attitude right from the start. He quoted me a low one time offer of just $99 for a first time inspection followed by $40 monthly fees. He offered services ranging from termite control to flea and tick treatments. All I had to do was pay the monthly fee. he said smugly. I asked if they had any other plans like just pay a one time fee for just termite service. The answer was a no. The company I'm currently with is just $175 per year for Termite control only.
I get that every business needs to make money. But to dupe and price-gouge people is not right. Do you really need to pay the insurance on a new electronic gadget? (some accident prone people do). Cable/streaming companies offer so much content that you don't want or need. Do you really need to pay $90/month just to get ESPN and access to the streaming app? I just had a tech from another company want to charge me $1000 just to put a new breaker in my fuse box. I guess the Pest Control industry has taken note. If this is how they treat prospective customers, I'd hate to see how they treat existing ones.

However, I was highly frustrated with several other aspects of their service. First, their scheduling department is a mess. They donāt provide a clear window for when you can expect them to arrive, and you donāt get a confirmation until the afternoon before your appointment. This lack of communication makes it really difficult to plan around.
The products they used also didnāt seem to work at all. After the initial treatment, the pest problem persisted, and when I called to address it, the response was always the sameāschedule another visit for them to apply the same ineffective products. It feels like a never-ending cycle, with no resolution in sight.
Additionally, the office staff was consistently rude whenever I called to follow up on any issues or try to get a verified time for service. It was an unpleasant experience trying to get help, which is disappointing when youāre already frustrated with the service itself.
Overall, while the technicians were great, the scheduling and office support, along with the lack of effective products, left me feeling dissatisfied. I wonāt be using this company again and would suggest looking elsewhere for more reliable pest...
