I was eager that Lowell got a Starbucks and I wanted to try this place out as I usually come to Lowell for business related trips but was extremely disappointed in the outcome of today’s “visit”. I had gone this morning and was greeted by a man who had a higher pitched voice and told him the item I wanted. This is when the issue started. There was a back and forth chat between him and some other female employee saying that they couldn’t do my “modification” for my Frappuccino. They stated that they wouldn’t do it and that I could get a “double blended” Frappuccino but that I would be charged extra. I called them out on their statement because I have requested the same “modification” from multiple locations like the Starbucks in Centerton, Bentonville, even Target locations and etc without any argument or hesitation. I have only been told a few times in those other locations that if I was sure that I wanted it blended with light ice as it would be more “liquidy”. I don’t have an issue with it being more liquidy/milkier, sometimes I like getting my Frappuccinos like that. However, I do not appreciate being told lies or having employees argue with me especially when being told my only option would be to pay extra for a “double blend” which is pretty ridiculous as it doesn’t even involve using more product. The customer service or lack thereof was pretty disconcerting and some sort of accountability needs to be brought by either corporate or the franchise owner to provide further training to solve the issues being presented by employees in this Starbucks location.
Upon further inspection from legitimate reviews leaving constructive feedback regarding customer service, it seems this is a rampant issue this location is suffering from. This Starbucks locations need some corporate intervention as these are issues that I haven’t encountered here in Northwest Arkansas and multiple other locations. I do hope that these issues can at least be noted and investigated to solve these problems or else potential customers will be drawn to other Starbucks locations or similar businesses. There is some serious re-training this...
Read moreI went through the drivethru around 6pm today, I had my son with me. He is 16 and he heard this whole exchange also. The guy asks what I wanted. I said I didn't know. Then I asked him what kinds of Frappucino's they had. I though some new ones had come out recently. The guy said Moch, Caramel, and another flavor I can't remember. Then he went on to say everything. Whatever flavor we have. i looked at my son confused. I asked what kinds of of Fraps they had. I just ordered my usual the Java Chip Frap. I get to the window and the guy was borderline rude. He said 6.92 or however much it was for a Large Frappucino. He didnt say anything else. Gave me a straw too small for the drink. I asked if this was for a large drink and he gave me the right straw without saying a word. HE closed the window while waiting for my drink. I jokingly asked my son what everything tasted like. I had never tried that flavor before. He said he didn't know either. The guy opened the window and gave me my drink without saying a work. By far the worst customer service I have had in a while...
Read moreI took my daughter to get coffee, she prefers Dunk'n, but Starbucks is much closer. I was out of coffee at home, so this worked for both of us. I ordered a brewed hot coffee, dark roast. Mind you it is 10:10 a.m. on SUNDAY, nope they were out of it. They are a COFFEE shop, they are not known for sandwiches....So, I ordered an espresso....and they gave me an Americano, that was luke warm at BEST. I just wanted a shot.... Glad that we were going home with them. I live less than a mile away, and like to put creamer in my black coffee. It was VERY cold, and the creamer wouldn't dissolve. If I were going to work, I would have had to toss it out since it wasn't even hot...
