4 stars might be odd for what I'm about to complain about, but the whole review will explain. I tried the buffalo chicken bites today, didn't care for them much. I also tried ordering through the app for the first time. The app kept giving me "unexpected error occurred" when trying to check out. Well, this is always kind of a dangerious time. Do I try again? Did it actually go through? Well, it didn't seem like it so I just ordered through a normal stall. I kid you not, as soon as i finished ordering, I get an email that says my order has been placed. Young man comes out with my food i ordered from the stall. I asked him if there was other food from my mobile order, there was. Didn't really put up an argument or anything, he doesn't get paid enough for me to explain my frustration and he had other people to serve. These complaints are not really tied to this location, but to sonic as a whole.
This location has always had friendly people, at least to me. The young man today was friendly, helpful and also kind of laughed along with me at the situation. I also noticed another young woman that was taking food to cars. Recognized her face right away because I have been coming to this sonic a few times a year for many years. She's always very kind to me and I really apprecaite her attitude as well. Read moreI drove up there on Friday morning to redeem a medium drink I had as a coupon. Upon ordering via Drive thru.. the person taking my order sounded a bit rushed and so I proceeded to order my drink. There was a red headed girl When i drove up to the window. When I presented my coupon, The girl was visibly annoyed and was upset at the fact that I did not mention this earlier and immediately closed the window in a way that felt like a rude doorslam. I personally don’t really order from sonic and this further made me feel like I have done something wrong to make her annoyed. In her words “next time mention it back there so you can make this easier” which I will next time.. lesson learned I guess.. Overall, food is always good but the customer service was very poor and this was just a very upsetting experience. I did report this and got apologies from it.. which is ok, but the only reason why I reported it is because I don’t feel like this is an appropriate way to respond when someone did something wrong. I understand the morning stress with traffic, but that was very unreasonable and I MOST DEFINITELY do not want this happening to anyone else. My parents used to receive treatment like this for not understanding what is common sense to others. It always made me sad going through that when I was young. Read moreI have to say this was one of the worst visits to a sonic I have ever had. The young man who took my order made a mistake on the billing of my order. He made 2 separate orders. No big deal, it happens. I paid for one at the kiosk. When Angie the car hop came out , I tried to explain to her what happened and instead of being helpful she became argumentative, throwing her hands in the air and making hateful facial expressions which quickly turned south. I asked for the manager and young man who took my order came out and apologized for the mistake and offered to comp us our meal. We do not want a free meal, we want good service and Angie could not provide with her attitude. With all this being said, I will more than likely drive out of my way to get a meal elsewhere. All because some young lady decided to be rude. I hope the owner of this sonic or manager sees this and thinks about what kind of people he has working for them. One last thing, the young man who made the mistake was very respectful. This review I hope will not reflect poorly upon him. He did a good job talking with me and we parted on good terms.
