In the year 2022 it was great to be back and experience the wide diversity that makes this festival a place to add to your summer schedule. It was a little smaller, down one stage this year and a couple from way back, but it was still rich in bring out a broad selection of acts. We enjoyed Jazz, Louisiana Brass, Western Swing, Blues bands, Kentucky Folk, traditional Celtic, and loved some rich Soul music that made me feel like I was back in some churches 30 + years ago. Food is as diverse as music and you can travel the world sampling cooking from all over during the course of the weekend. It is held on a weekend in late July every year and is a great place to explore and enjoy music, crafts and food without breaking your budget. The 2019 festival got lucky with sunny July weather - warm, but not quite as hot as some of the other days this July. There is plenty of parking at city garages at reasonable rates.
