I received an incorrect item delivered to me that I ordered online. The packing slip was correct but the item was completely incorrect. I ordered pajamas and got a calendar. I took it to the Trexlertown store on 10/25/24 at about 8 PM and asked if they could just have the correct item delivered to me. The woman said she couldn’t do that. She said all she could do was give me a refund and I would then have to order it again on my phone while inside the store to get free shipping. The item was no longer on sale so I ended up paying more. I also told her that I initially purchased the pajamas with kohl’s cash and didn’t want to have that deducted but it was and she then gave me another $10.00 kohl’s cash, which was the only right thing she did. How unfair that I would have to get refunded for something that I never got and at no fault of my own and have to stand in the store to re-order something at a higher price. The cashier then asked if I was done so that she could help the next customer-rude! The same scenario happened to me a couple of years ago with an online kohls order and the cashier at the time was nice enough to just put in another order and have it shipped to me. She didn’t even want the incorrect items back. What happened on 10/25/24 was very bad customer service. Not one of the 3 women standing behind the counter did the right thing. I could understand if it was my error but that wasn’t the case. They need to be re-educated, or just not work in...
Read moreI didn't have a nice return experience. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to say whether my return was a gift or not since some stores will ask you if it was a gift or if you bought it outright (as in, some store associates may have prompts to ask you if it was a gift when involved in a customer transaction). The employee I dealt with didn't ask me so I assumed that because I was in the "holiday return line" (as the sign said), that I'd get store credit or a refund.
When the transaction was done and I was getting my receipt, I asked if it was going back on my relative's card since I wasn't told about where the money would be credited back. The employee said "Why didn't you say it was a gift earlier?" I said "Because I didn't know I had to" because they didn't ask if it was either.
I did get store credit, which I'm fine with, but I didn't appreciate her sass. I probably should have said outright that it was a gift but I don't think it's 100% my fault since if you have a specific sign in your store for a "holiday return" line, you'd think you'd ask that question to customers. I really hope others in this situation this season didn't get...
Read moreI recently made an online purchase for a product to pickup at kohls store in trexlertown. When I went to pick up my order, it was supposed to be in bin 241. Well the product in that bin was not my order so I had to stand in line to talk to the cashier at the register. I don’t recall her name but she is an older lady with an unsmiling face. She called someone else and asked for my initials which I gave her. They came back from checking and said oh it’s not there and we don’t have it in the store! They then called the manager and she asked me for my LAST name not my initials and apparently it was the first two letters of my last name, not my initials. So ok it was a little mistake but it’s the attitude of the cashier that pissed me off. She rolled her eyes at me and when she finally found it she just handed it to me , no sorry for the mistake or anything. So the store makes a mistake and then she has the nerve to roll her eyes at me ! I’ll definitely avoid making purchases here again esp online because it’s clear they are a bunch of incompetent fools. And what’s more...
