Writing my experience is bitter sweet.. Because I love T.J. Maxx, I have spent a lot of money in the store and I haven't ever had a bad thing to say, until tonight. My cashier, Amanda S. was by far the most unprofessional & rude employee that I have ever come across. I first hand know that dealing with customers throughout your day can be draining. I've worked it. Some days are very rough. That's why I am always very polite & patient. I got up to check out, empty line, I was the only one there. I approached the counter, said "Hello, How is your day going?" No response, expect a big exhale. I then asked, "Having a rough day today?" Still no word spoken. I felt like I was a ghost. Standing in silence watching her scan my items, I wondered what I could do to help her have a better day, but anything I said she wanted no part in it. She handed me my change and I said, "Thank You." Still not a word from her mouth. Not a Thank you, Have a good evening, Not a word. I know she could talk because she talked to a co worker when he walked up. And for someone who decided to take a job in customer service she sure didn't have any. I get there is a lot of chaos in the word, but with attitudes like hers there will never be a change for the better. I hope she has better days, than the one tonight. Not sure what she is dealing with in her personal life, but it shouldn't be taken out...

Management staff constantly hides in the back offices while most of what little sales staff is on the floor refuses to go to the registers to check people out.
