The food overall is pretty good. I must say my 2nd time dining in (with my mom), they did a lot better on cooking the turkey bacon, unlike the previous times before. I don't know. I just feel like so many people aren't aware of the fact that you can make turkey bacon crispy. No, it won't be as crispy as pork bacon, but it will indeed be crispy and good. As far as the service, sometimes, they do have workers who aren't as friendly at first, but I personally try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Body language speaks volumes to me, not only the words that come out of a person's mouth.
Now, if the waiter continues to act"dry," if you will, then my tip will also be "dry." The first time I took my mom out for breakfast, I felt like the waitress was rushing us. Though the waitress wasn't dry or rude by words but the fact that my mother and I felt rushed was rude. The reason I say this is because normally, the customer will ask for the check and go boxes if needed.
Our waitress that particular day just came over with the receipt without asking anything. My mom and I looked at each other. However, we continued talking, but then a little later, she had to go boxes and place them on the table. Mind you, my mother, and I didn't ask for anything as of yet. I understand that there was a lunch rush with more people coming to dining in.
However, as long as the person(s) who is dining in is still eating, etc. there's no need to rush anyone. Despite that, I did still leave the waitress a tip, but I definitely made a note to myself to mention that if I ever have that particular waitress again because I've had this waitress before. I'd be sure to respectfully mention my feelings towards being rushed as a paying customer.
The atmosphere overall was pleasant, I constantly saw workers cleaning and overall having a smile on their faces and being very polite, as in using their manners when passing by others. I definitely will continue to...
Read moreI was thoroughly disappointed!!!! A friend and I was in line to be seated at a table and right behind us was 3 black people who was seated in a booth directly behind our table. Our server took our drink order of which I ordered coffee and my friend ordered unsweetened tea and as I was asking for sugar and sweet and low our server just walked off and went to the booth behind us, got their drink order and went and got one of their drinks then she brought us our drinks and without asking if we were ready to order she immediately went to the booth who was seated after us and took their order and THEN she came and took ours. We finally got our sugars after I had to stop her and ask her for them. I ordered biscuits and gravy of which there was a very thin layer of gravy over the biscuit. Only had 2 cups of coffee because she never returned to see how we were doing and to see if we needed anything. My friend ordered the chicken strips and fries with pancakes. The waitress was argumentative about the pancakes with that order of which my friend pointed out on the menu that it came with a salad or pancakes and my friend was not asked if she wanted any thing to dip her chicken strips into. And instead of being charged $7.99 for the chicken strips she was changed $9.99 for a chicken fried steak 8 oz dinner. This is the WORST service and food that I have ever gotten here. The total of the bill was $27.35 and it would do no good to try to complain to the franchise owner who actually works there during the day because he doesn't care. No matter what kind of complaint you have he will not make it right. Now because of this fiasco we have to go somewhere else to eat and spend even more money because of the incompetence of...
Read moreI’ve been going to this establishment since the previous owner. I love the food and their service; however, today I had a bad experience with one of the waitresses. When I first arrived I was greeted by the manager and one more employee. They have a nice sense of humor and made me feel welcomed. When my waitress brought my drinks I told her I was ready to order and she said “give me a minute” which turned into approximately a 10 minute wait. She only had my table and one more table. During those 10 minutes all she did was roamed around everywhere else except her area. I politely asked another waitress if she could get my waitress because I was ready. Our waitress then walks by and loudly interchanges words with the other waitresses saying; “ if they in a rush they can go somewhere else.” Shortly after, I asked to pay for the drinks I had consumed and left.
Honestly lack of respect for her customers on her side. I get it when a customer is mean to the employees but on this case all I asked was for my waitress attention. I’m not going to make the place look bad over one employee either. She was probably having a bad day but still no reason to treat your customers...
