Whatever you do, don’t go to Angela. Rushed through the service, was rough and impatient. Kept messing up the previous layer of polish because she didn’t wait long enough in between coats for them to dry. Ended up with bubbles all over as the polished dried and they had to be redone. Wouldn’t let me use the same polish insisting there was something wrong with it. So she started putting this random ass pink color on my nails before I could even say anything. Had to say several times “can I go pick a different polish please?” Then she threw a fit as she removed that polish and was acting like I caused the problem and ranted about how she’s gonna be late to wherever she’s going after the appointment…. Mind you, I scheduled the appointment in advance and arrived 10 mins early, only to end up 45 mins late to dinner due to the whole debacle. And when she was finally “fixing” my nails she kept messing them up again due to rushing and lifting the previous coats off. Practically threw me at the dryer and then tried to do touch ups again. She ended up leaving and another girl did my top coat when the previous coats were dry enough. Just wild. I went here once before (I think to GaGa?) and had no issue, but Jesus, what bad service this time. My nails look awful but I didn’t have any more time to waste there and they were closing up shop.

Firstly, I think it’s inappropriate to tell someone what they experienced did not occur when whoever is writing the reply did not witness the entire incident. Secondly, as per my original review, I did not change my polish choice multiple times. The nail technician told me she couldn’t redo in the original color due to something being wrong with the polish. She started painting on a color that I did not choose - and I stopped her so I could go choose a color that was to my liking. Regardless, the technician’s poor attitude and treatment during my visit was unacceptable. Honestly, I was willing to give this place another chance with another nail technician, as so many of the other reviews are good. But after reading the reply from this business it’s clear that again, it’s being made out that I somehow caused the issue. I most definitely will not...

I hated 1/2 of my time there. I'll start off saying Cookie did an amazing job on my nails and is the ONLY one I will go to for my nails. My problem was they sent me to a different lady to do my pedicure. Number one she kept dozing off every time she put her head down and talked about the craziest things. She cut my toe nails so short that they hurt. She would go from foot to foot, forgetting to do things she did to one foot to another. She told me she was the best one there as she cut the corner of my toe nails which can make them be in grown. This all took her about an hour and half because she talked in between to myself and other people, she would doze off and leave to go in the back and come back a few minutes later. She painted my toes (LITERALLY) there was paint on the sides and just not clean. Once finished I went to the front and paid, THE ONLY reason I paid full was because she rung me out and I'm to nice to say anything. Once she walked away I talked with the front desk girl and the manager and he didn't even seem bothered. He offered me to come back but I had a wedding, I couldn't. Once I got home even MY DAD said it looked like a kindergartener did my nails so at that point I called to just get my money back. I talked with Anne and she said they would not give me my money back, it's their policy. So after not getting refunded they offered for me to come back and get it re done. I don't think it's fair that I had to re do my pedicure and have my toe nails look the way they do and not get my money back. I will NOT go back. I will post pics of my lovely...

My two daughters and I walked into NY Nails yesterday it would be our first time going there... it was not busy lots of open tables...everyone looked surprised to see us they were all staring at us... my eldest daughter politely asked if they do powder gel and if they knew how to take it off... the head person and the person who do the powder gel was the same person who did not answer right away and was looked at by all the other people for the answer.... the vibe we got was that we were different from what they are use to serving... we arrived close to 3pm the first time we were told to come back at 4pm because they had other appointments at that time...we were not thrilled about it but said ok and left out...something told me I should have gone back in and resecure our spot but we were still on the list not crossed out... So I felt they know we are coming back...We left killed some time and came back only to find out it would be 5:45 to 6pm now and at that moment it was 10 minutes after 4pm and they close at 7pm there was two other women sitting there I guess waiting to get their nails done so we would probrably be after them (they arrived after we left)... we were not told before we left the first time that we give a phone number and she would call us back when they were ready to do our nails... My children have always had their own opinions and thoughts not influenced by me but for all three of us to come away from this feeling the same way??? ... I could be wrong but my guess is they had no desire to service people who...
