I’ve always enjoyed Scalpers, until my last three experiences there. The first time I called and ordered 12 Scalpers wings, my boyfriend went in to pick them up for me. He came out saying they had no order for me after I gave them my name and phone number. Eventually, they figured out they wrote down the wrong name similar to mine. So the staff seems unorganized and should have first checked a phone number. We were waiting an extra 30 minutes. Second time, a week later we ordered 13 Scalpers wings again. When I got home, I opened them and it was not the same Scalpers sauce we had just had. It was mild sauce barely put on the wings. So I gave them a call, and they compensated me and I came back two days later and the same thing happened again. So my boyfriend and I came back in. As soon as we walked in the waitress/bartender already walked over with an attitude. I explained and she just claimed it was scalpers sauce and there was nothing that could be done. Showed us the sauce and even a regular customer sitting by us said it wasn’t the scalpers sauce, that looked like straight mild. At this point, we’re getting frustrated because we know for a fact it want the same scalpers sauce. We weren’t looking to cause issues, it was just not the same sauce. And Brittany started getting rude and just wanted us out. My boyfriend pushed the wings towards her saying we don’t want them and to keep them. Read moreThis was my 1st time in scalpers and I met a friend who has been here before and my experience was so-so. I say So-So because my friend and I came in sat at the bar immediately grabbed a menu looked it over and now we're waiting for our order to be taken. While waiting another set of ladies walked in sat some seats away from us and did the same exact thing as we did after us and guess who got serviced 1st 😒👀. I definitely observed it and so did my friend we both just looked at each other with that look (we see what's going on here) normally I would say something but this time I chose to see how the barmaid would play her hand. While placing our order of course after the ladies whom came in after us 😕 we noticed how robotic and cold she was with us and very pleasant and welcoming with the other ladies. Again I'm thinking well maybe their regulars here IDK 🤷♀️ but I also feel if I'm supporting your establishment I should be treated the same way who's to say I can potentially be a regular given the service was more welcoming across the board. Needless to say we still placed our order. We ordered the garlic fries, polish boy and the scalpers wings (side bar: the scalpers sauce was very tasty but the wings were very Large for me😬 I prefer a regular size wing because the larger ones tend to be very tough.) Just recently started coming here and I enjoy the food. Everyone that I had encountered so far was very friendly. I placed a take out order on September 8th for potato skins and lemon pepper wings cooked crispy (the same order I get every time I have ordered from them). I get home and realize my wings are not lemon pepper but what I thought was garlic Parmesan. I call and let them know that I got the wrong wings by mistake, again the person I spoke with was very friendly, offered to remake them and return the wings I got my mistake. I live 25 minutes away and I told whoever I spoke with it wasn’t a huge deal because I don’t dislike garlic parm but it wasn’t what I ordered. I was then offered a credit and was told it’d be on file. I was happy with that solution. I called on September 18th to place my usual order for the wings and potato skins and was told there was no record of me having a credit. Narrowed down that I most likely spoke to Dana and to call back because she was not in at the time I called, I said cool no problem. I called back September 20th and explained the situation and told whoever I spoke with I was looking for Dana, I was put on hold and after a few minutes the same person said “sorry there’s nothing we can do we already spoke to the manager” I just said okay and hung up.
