Mr Cards-N-Comics — Local services in Lyndhurst

I really hate to leave a bad review, because I initially loved this shop….BUT, I simply cannot justify any Pokémon card fan going here. This store is now run by a scalper who regularly charges anywhere from 30-50% higher prices than retail for Pokémon. It’s beyond ridiculous. If anyone mentions that he is overcharging, he either gets extremely defensive or starts whining that they “have to because they don’t get very much product”. Have you seen their shelves? They will be stocked for DAYS with Pokémon, and it’s always massively overpriced. Release day? $60 ETBs were listed for $90.

I’ve been going to Mr cards and comics for all my yu-gi-oh needs and then the owner got me and my dad into Magic. We loved it immediately for about 8-10 years now we have used Mr cards and comics as our source for all things magic and I can say I couldn’t be happier. They have a very large selection, very good prices and they’re super helpful when it comes to questions about cards. Not to mention they’re super friendly. Rather you’re looking for a place to play tournaments, casual play or just buy some cards and or comics I’d say there isn’t a better place than Mr....

We recently started going to this store looking for DnD books - of which there is always a great selection, among other DnD products (screens, cards, dice, etc.).

There's also a nice variety of comics, cards, and other tabletop games lining the walls. Eli is always educated and polite about the different games and books that he sells. Easy to make an informed decision with anything you're looking to buy.

Towards the back of the store there are tables for playing that could host a fair amount of people.
