7/13/2025 Review I recently received a flyer in my mailbox stating Two Brothers opened in Mayfield Heights. I currently go to Primoz Pizza in Mayfield Heights, mainly due to their offering vegan cheese and their wings are delicious. I reviewed Two Brothers menu, prices were slightly less, but close to what Primoz charges, so I decided to try out Two Brothers. I called and asked the lady who answered the phone if they offered vegan cheese on pizza's and she said "oh no we don't offer that ". I said can you make me a pizza with a light amount of cheese and she said yes. She indicated that she'd make my pizza 🍕 I ordered a small Ultimate Meat pizza and 6 bone in wings with honey mustard sauce. My order was at 3:08pm on Sunday July 13th and would be ready in 25 minutes.
I showed up around 3:30ish and the parking lot was empty. I thought this was odd, but maybe the time I was there wasn't a rush order time. I walked in the door and this guy sitting at a table said hi to me and I replied back saying hi. I thought he was waiting for an order, but I later found out he works there. I went up to the counter and there was a woman at the register looking at her cellphone rather intently. I was standing at the counter for at least 6 seconds and she didn't even look up. I'm now thinking this isn't good and I'm going to just stand here and not say anything until she happens to look up. LOL Then the guy at the table calls her name and says someone is standing at the counter. I then figured out that guy works there.
She looks up at me and said I'm so sorry. I was literally close enough to touch her shoulder and she didn't see I was there. Awful customer service and they say first impressions are everything. Well in this case it's 100% true. I said I'm here to pickup my order under Heather and she remembered my light cheese pizza order. I mentioned Primoz offers vegan cheese pizza's among other options and she wasn't aware who Primoz Pizza was and there Mayfield Heights location is literally 1 block away from Two Brothers Mayfield Heights location that's been open for 1 month. She was not aware that Two Brothers competitors are within walking distance.
My order was ready on time. The box my pizza came in was a very plain looking cardboard box with no company logo on it, just a sticker sealing the box with my name and order time printed on the label. The wings were in a black plastic to go container. She said that she hopes I enjoy my meal and come back soon. As I was walking out she said to the guy sitting at the table that a bell needs to be hooked up to the front door. Well that could be a good idea, but not being glued to your cellphone at the counter and seeing a customer walk in would be even better.
Got home and opening the 6 piece wings. Primoz Pizza doesn't need to worry. I'm sorry to say Two Brothers Pizza won't be any competition to Primoz Pizza. The wings are cooked, but are not even slightly crunchy. Wings should have a skin that slightly crunchy when coming out of the fryer. My wings were cooked, but not even warm and that was due to the sauce being luke warm temperature at best. My honey mustard sauce literally tasted like very thick honey mustard salad dressing tossed on the wings and shook up in the container. Yuck!! I tried 2 wings and unfortunately pitched the rest.
The pizza was cooked, but not even luke warm. I microwaved the pizza slices and that slightly improved it. Two Guys needs to improve the cardboard box to a better box that will hold in the heat from the cooked pizza. The toppings were okay, but not as much as I expected. The specialty pizza was on a thin crust and was not crunchy in texture. The pizza dough was over cooked, not burned thank goodness, but rubbery in texture when I was chewing it. Almost the texture of frozen pizza dough thawed out.
I wanted to try a new local business. I spent a total of $22.48 on wings that were not very good, sauce that wasn't even sauce and a rubbery type of pizza. Primoz Pizza is...
Read moreTwo brothers must be the cousins of Hunt Brothers. This is the MOST mediocre at BEST pizza in town. There is LITERALLY nothing special about this sauce. The sauce has not much flavor if any at all. Left me feeling like it was cafeteria style sauce from the lunch room as a kid. Cheese was nothing special and the crust was NOT tavern style as stated in other reviews.
The wings were NOT crispy and could have TONS of potential if cooked to the point of being crispy. I asked for hot garlic Parm and instead got some sweet Parm sauce which was not good. The wings were bigger wings than most places but again the lack of crisp just made them feel awkward (like fatty) when you touch them. The sauce was sticky and flavorless which was weird as well for they smelled good for not being the sauce I asked for.
The cheesy breadsticks were not cheesy. They were thinner dough than the pizza which was weird. They came with no dipping sauce. Nothing special, unique or exciting about these.
The best thing that came with the meal were the chocolate chip cookies. Even the cookies though are dry, fairly flavorless and again not spectacular or even good.
Service was Meh at best when you take into account the order was missing items and I was provided wrong items as well. This was On top of entering the store with a girl sitting on top of a table. She had not much care to say hi. Even once I was in the store she had no care to come down and at least act like she cared to be there. The lady at the counter was very pleasant and kind though. I do have to comment to her to not be telling people they are the best wings when they definitely are not.
For $50 in today's economy.......There are many many other places I would go instead of here for pizza and wings. They are new to the area and hopefully they improve and I can change this review to a positive and highly rated review. I truly went into this experience open minded. I am not trying to bash this business. However I do feel that it is important to give a fair and honest review about all aspects of...
Read moreIn summary, YUM YUM! Everything is amazing tasty and great!! Plus the people were very friendly 🥰
I've been working crazy hours and was in a pinch food wise. I've been wanting to try this place so I ordered a veggie pizza, an Italian sub, and meatball pasta. Food for tonight, work lunch, and dinner tomorrow! Well, of course I had to try a bite everything once I got it.
I love Italian subs, and let me tell you, this one has to be one of the best! Holy cow, so good! I was going to save it for lunch, but ate half for dinner instead. The pizza was also great! The crust was so perfectly crusty and garlicky. Very yummy. Ate a piece of that with my half sub for my dinner LOL.
I only tried a bite of the pasta before I saved it, but it also tasted delicious, I'm sure once I really dig in I'll be doing the yummy...
