The only positive thing I can say is that the portion sizes on the lunch combo and hot and sour soup was decent. Our order was: Chicken Pad Thai Lunch combo x2 Hot and Sour Soup - Large Fried dumplngs Roast Duck Total was $43.00
Pad thai was far from authentic (no sesame seeds, crunchy peanuts or any green onions) Was covered with a tart vinegary sauce on wide, soggy, and half broken rice noodles but otherwise bland with mostly dry pieces of chicken. 2/5
Hot and sour soup was okay (had too many ingredients and was more like porridge instead of a soup) 2/5
Fried dumplings had cold spots on them like they were microwaved. 2/5
Roast Duck - did not come with any wraps, was on a bed of shredded lettuce. Completely bland but you could taste burnt almond oil and its aroma. Each piece was over 50% bone and then like 25% fat to top it off. Really bad 1/5
Overall none of the food tasted fresh and we didn't really enjoy it. All of the leftovers went in the trash which is sad because I hate wasting food and more...
Read moreHorrible Experience! My food had an eggshell in it. When I called to inquire about receiving a return, the young woman said to bring in the food and a refund would be issued. However, upon entering the location and restating the issue with the food, I was immediately met with contempt and aggression. The young woman attempted to only provide a partial refund but that solution would not work for me, because the food was inedible. So after conferring with an older woman at the restaurant and me actually providing the broken off eggshell that was in the food the young woman slammed my refunded money on the counter and yelled "My mother said you can't come back here"!!! What kind of treatment is this from a company that sells food? Why would you stand behind a product that is inedible and dangerous to eat? Look elsewhere, the food and customer service...
Read moreIn town for business and first time eating at this Lyndhurst, OH Hunan China Sea restaurant. Ordered chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein and crab rangoon. I shared the portions with my daughter. She told me (before I tried it) that the fried rice tasted like plastic. So of course, I tried it myself and she was right! There is no other way to describe it than it tasted like plastic! We ended up throwing this good sized portion of fried rice out. We both ate some of the lo mein and it was edible but very bland. Ate about half of that and threw the rest away. The crab rangoon was good. Can’t recommend this place. Sorry. I’ve eaten Chinese food for many many years and have never thrown any of it away due to not liking...
