Final thoughts....I'd actually rather sleep on a brick than work with Joe, Deja or this store ever again.
Edit 2 to add - Final: Worst service. It's been over 30 days since the Regional Manager conversation, and almost 3 weeks since the product was picked up and we have not received any refunds or follow ups from the store to check the status. The delivery company they use is incessant and incompetent. The original delivery install was incomplete or defective so we called back DAY OF to let them know - well, in the following weeks the poor instalation left our floors damaged too. That's several hundred dollars in damages done that nobody will take responsibility for either. Let me be clear, once the sale is made your service ends. I'd actually rather sleep on a brick than work with Joe, Deja or this store ever again.
Edit to add: The day after I left this unfavorable review below, the Regional Manager did get in contact and has been very helpful and transparent in finding a resolution that works. Still waiting for all things to settle and resolve the situation.
Absolute worst. Spend almost $10k on a mattress and base, only to be hit with typical salesperson junk. Every concern we had was met with some type of pitch from the store manager Joe. Fast forward to the 1st night, they all came true - every single one. It was delivered with multiple defective legs too, which we noted just hours later. Still ZERO response (don't call and ask, Deja will catch an attitude). It's been 3 weeks now, and we have no update on the legs, mattress swap OR received the promised call from the Regional Manager to help. (OH, and in case you're curious... they're so tastless they were talking poorly about another employee to us, imagine what they say behind our back). Concerns we had.... Yes, the firm is like an actual brick and nowhere close to what was in store. No the firm doesn't conform in the adjustable base and leaves giant gaps open so you could injure a pet for sure.    Read moreI could write at considerable length about my mattress-selection saga. I spent months considering different options, and I visited many, many different stores. This was by far the best, and the only one where neither the company nor the employees seemed to be pushing me into a purchase, or repeating highly-suspect marketing claims. The layout and general upkeep of the store was also leagues ahead of any of the others; it resembles nothing so much as an Apple Store. Competing stores felt more like warehouses at best. The place was immaculate.
I’d also like to emphasize the excellent staff. I worked most closely with Deja, who was very patient with my indecision and provided clear, objective information, free of any hard selling. I also spoke with Joe and Micaella (visiting from the Columbus location), both of whom were just as friendly, welcoming, and personable.
Tempur has a distinctive feel, and not everyone is going to enjoy it. It’s also, being honest, about as expensive as any mattress can be without going to the hyper-luxury brands like Duxiana or Hästens. But I can guarantee that you won’t regret at least visiting this store. She offered me a comprehensive catalog to browse at my leisure and to contact her with any questions. Well, the very next day, after convincing my husband that a new, adjustable base with split mattress, with zero gravity setting, is exactly what we needed to improve our sleep. I returned to the showroom floor, with catalog in hand, and many more questions about specific products. Fortunately Deja was working that day, and guided me with the selection of my very customized bed. She actively, patiently listened to me as I brainstormed what I did not like about my previous mattresses. I had no idea that I could order one side my king bed with a “soft-pillow top mattress” and my husband’s side of the bed could be a “firm mattress”!!!!
