Replenish Juice bar — Restaurant in Lyndhurst

On Wednesday, May 25, my friend purchased me a smoothie. I tried the smoothie and didn't like it because it taste like strawberry syrup. I went to the front desk and told the young lady how I felt, she apologised and ask the manager who was Mickey could he do anything about it.  He did not handle the situation professionally; he was unemphatic, rude, and had no conflict resolution skills. While addressing the issue he sat down and asked what was wrong, I told him the same thing I told the young lady. He asked did I order it? I said no, why does that matter? If you order food or a beverage at any other place and you are not satisfied then you can exchange it.  I had only taken a sip out of the smoothie. When he responded with an attitude nothing I can do, we don't do things like that here. I asked what your name was,  Mickey (No last name). He could have walked up to the counter and addressed the situation (instead of yelling while another customer was there), had positive body langue, a respectful tone, and to try come up with a solution that would work for the customer. I feel as though the manager should better be equipped to handle situations like this.
