Burger King — Restaurant in Lynn Haven

I have lived in Lynn Haven for about two years now and this was my first visit to this particular Burger King. I was feeling like an original chicken sandwich one night thanks to the coupons in my mailbox and went thru the drive-through. I order myself the original chicken sandwich and my kids a couple of whopper juniors and fries. When I placed my order for the original chicken sandwich, I’m TOLD “you’re going to wait about 5 minutes for that”. I then go to the window and hand her my card and my little coupon. Now I don’t usually use coupons, but the economy is terrible right now and I normally wouldn’t even choose to go to Burger King if I’m going to get fast food,, but the coupon in my mailbox got me craving that chicken sammich and that coupon is the ONLY reason I am there. So when I hand her my card and my coupon, she looks at it and says “oh, you have a coupon” by the her tone and the look on her face, my chicken sandwich and my coupon were a very big inconvenience for her. So while I am waiting for my five minute sandwich, I’m wondering what she’s going to do to my food. So I get my food and two of the three fries were cold and hard, only one of them were hot and this was hands down the worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had from Burger King. It was soggy and gross, mayo tasted sour, but the food was not my biggest issue (truly don’t expect much from Burger King anymore), but I’ve never felt like more of an inconvenience when going into any type of restaurant. I don’t expect fast food workers to love their jobs, I get it. I worked fast food when I was in high school, but don’t treat people like we’re inconveniencing you by ordering food that is on the menu. This has got to be my worst visit I’ve ever experienced at any Burger King in my entire life! First off when I pulled into the drive thru instead of being greeted the lady had an attitude. My kids were in the car and they asked me what did I think was wrong with her. Upon pulling up to the window I forgot to order my daughters tator-tots and I asked the lady if I could place an order at the window for the tots because my daughter really wants them. The lady literally through a temper tantrum scaring my kids to death. Keep in mind I’m on my way to take them to school. My daughter started crying and said it’s okay daddy she’s mean. So I left to drop them off and went back for the tots. Upon pulling up to the window once I started to speak the lady literally slammed the door in my face. NEVER will I go to this Burger King or any Burger King in this area. They’re not worth being treated like that. To top things off! I asked the lady for her name. She simply stated I’m not telling you that sir. The tots were cold as if she sat them to the side until I came back. If I’m not mistaken her name is TRISTA SIMMONS the general manager I would assume because her uniform was different from everyone else’s. I would highly recommend for you not to go to this location. Like everywhere else in Bay County they have a shortage of employees, the food/entertainment industry has been hit especially hard.

It can be a little slow getting through the drive-in during their rush hours. The food is alot better than it used to be pre-Michael. Now it's fresher and and not dried out from sitting on the warmer & under warming lights. I had the original chicken sandwich and fries and they were both cooked perfectly. The chicken sandwich was moist and the breading was just right, not soggy or crunchy hard. The bun was fresh along with the crisp lettuce and the Mayo was the proper color instead of that darken & getting hard edges you see when it's been sitting too long & on the verge of food poisoning. The fries were great! Some of those wonderful golden crisp ones that aren't so hard you break a tooth on and some of those golden yet softer ones that aren't soggy but aren't real crispy either and they had a great taste with just a pinch of salt. ALSO they packed it in a bag properly so that nothing was being smashed.
