As someone whoâs worked at escape rooms and completed countless rooms across different companies and cities, I can confidently say that Escapology stands out in all the best ways. My group and I had the chance to complete all 9 rooms they offer, and we had an incredible experience from start to finish.
Our favorite rooms were Pirates, Haunted House, and Mansion Murderâeach one offering a great mix of atmosphere, puzzles, and immersive storytelling. Escapology does a fantastic job of balancing challenge with fun, and the rooms range in difficulty so there's something for everyone. The unlimited hints are a lifesaver in the tougher rooms, and theyâre given out with just the right touchâsupportive without spoiling the experience.
What really made our time exceptional, though, was the amazing staff. Everyone was so sweet, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Mission Control was on point every timeâwe felt supported but never rushed. Huge shoutout to Lucy (LOVE their energy!), Michele, Brycen, Jude, Liam, Makai, and Keeganâyou all made our time there even more memorable. There were others who helped us as well, and every interaction was top-notch.
We did experience a couple of minor technical hiccups in some roomsâthings like puzzles not triggering even though we had the correct solutionâbut every time we called in, the team was quick to respond, super helpful, and apologetic. It never took away from the fun, and in fact, the way they handled it just showed how dedicated they are to making sure guests have a great time. This is understandable for a new place so keep that in mind and give the hosts grace just let them know at the end.
Escapology delivered a consistent, creative, and incredibly fun escape experience. Weâre honestly a little sad to be done with all the roomsâthey were that good! Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned escape room enthusiast like me, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Can't recommend them enough! ALSO love the bracelets you get to collect to take...
Read moreWeâve done two different escape rooms here with two different groups at Escapology. Unfortunately, having prior escape room experience with Entangled (which, by the way, is much better), the comparison didnât work in Escapologyâs favor. Entangledâs rooms are larger, puzzles are physically spread out, the worker watching talks to you through a speaker, and everything operates seamlessly without needing a staff member to âtriggerâ progress through a camera feed.
Anyways, Escapology is corporate & their structure includes a worker watching you from the cameras, they electronically trigger opening of doors or drawers or chests âwhen they decide youâve solved something.â --There was this instance, where 1) either they werenât paying attention or 2) they decided we didnât solve it? Iâll explain: there was a code we had to crack - we tried the correct code twice, asked for help hence had the workers confirm the code but it was STILL WRONG? Theyâre like âOh you gotta click the buttons fasterâ (Ok, would you say that if we were TWO people that have to move across three areas of the room clicking buttons ? Speed isnât the issue here.) Now a third time entering the code cause YAY finally we have your workers attention to trigger the next step to open.
Plus, on one of our other escape rooms here, Iâve twiddled with a chest & it magically opened, which looking back, it gives me an impression that maybe the person watching âthinksââ I input something correctly but who knows. âAnyways, the setup seems slightly flawed, what if people arenât thinking out loud? What if the workers arenât paying attention? What if the worker doesnât think you solved it correctly, but you did?
Lastly, we did make record time on of our rooms but the ârecord timesâ on the wall seems more like a marketing display. Maybe ask for a team name or use first letters of every person and make a unique abbreviation, to provide a slightly meaningful identifier instead of what appears as random numbers that...

The four of us did the haunted house room. The front desks staff were friendly and kind! The game had a good back story which we enjoyed. I also appreciate that there were no limits to how many hints you can get.
We never met our âgame masterâ nor had any actual interaction other than being given the hints through a display. The biggest thing that irritated me was that there seemed to be a important prop missing from the room, we looked and looked and were stuck for quite a while and eventually the game master seemingly just âskippedâ the puzzle but it was not communicated which left us very confused.
The end of the game was also a bit anti climactic - basically we didnât know it ended until the staff knocked on the door. Also when they asked if we had any questions, we inquired about the missing prop and it was pretty much just dismissed as âoh yeah i heard about that problem, weâll search for it laterââŠ. If they knew it was missing why was it not communicated to us before or during the game?
We did escape and still had a good time. Another thing worth noting - when booking the room they asked for email address to send âfreeâ professional photos, but there were no professional photos taken, and the email was used to gather personal info for promotion material. (You could opt out - I suggest them remove the free photo thing to avoid it being misleading)
Given that they just opened not long ago, hopefully that they will improve their logistic and offers a more enjoyable experience...
