Glad to see a location finally open in Lynnwood! I've been wishing for a Uniqlo to open in Alderwood for years, and now I won't have to make the long trek all the way to Bellevue / Seattle anymore.
I recently had some Uniqlo pants altered here (took about ~1.5" off, short leg crowd rejoice) - because they were each under the $20 threshold due to a sale ($19.90 to be specific), the free alteration didn't count but even so, it was only $5 per pants for alteration which is still a great deal compared to taking it to an external tailor. Plus since it's in-house, they'll have exact thread color matches.
The alterations look so natural, you can't even tell they were altered in the first place. Nothing wonky with the new seams, etc.
FYI: If you request the alteration earlier in the day they can often have it ready same-day (I went in around noon and they said 4pm that day), but they can hold it for pick-up for up to 90 days. Pretty quick and painless system.
In general, the staff have been super nice, even with the high foot traffic given it hasn't been that long since opening. The fitting room area can get a bit hectic and backed up (imo in hindsight, whoever planned the store layout should've allotted more space for more fitting rooms) - there's usually a line and a lot of back and forth with the staff corralling the folks entering/exiting the fitting rooms, in addition to them trying to fold and reorganize clothing that was tried on. The fitting room area is also where you would request alterations and have a staff member place a safety pin at the requested length. Basically, a lot goes on in that one area. But I don't really have any actual qualms about the...
Read moreMy one star review is mainly about the checkout line confusion at this store.
They have a very small sign tell you where to line up for assistance check out and return. Just waiting in line for 5 minute, there are several people cutting the line from the other side UNINTENTIONALLY. It’s not their fault at all because we are all standing behind a rack of cloth, so no one can see us waiting from the other side. When I brought this up to the cashier and ask if they have notice this, they said “ oh yeah this has been a huge issue, I don’t know why they haven’t don’t anything about this…” I am shocked because this could be an easy fix, just put another sign!
Disappointed at the store management, and how they been neglecting the issue. This could frustrate a lot of people especially during rush hour when the checkout...
Read moreScam company. Beware of ordering anything from them online. I placed an online order through what they call "Order and Pick" which one of their employees picks up the product from the same store and you can only pick it up from that specific store. When returning, the refused to take it and said since you "paid online" this is an online order and you need to pay for shipping to ship it back to our warehouse. This is a pure scam and they are trying to make me pay for their shipping logistics network between their stores. If the item was originally shipped from a warehouse, it'd make a little sense but in my case the item was picked from the same store and they wanted me to pay to ship it elsewhere. This should be illegal and we should lawyer up to file a class-action lawsuit about...
