I recently visited AutoZone for a battery return and purchase, and while the company's policy left much to be desired, the service I received was exceptional, thanks primarily to Romero. Romero was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly attentive and understanding, even when I became frustrated with the restrictive battery return policy. I was told I could only exchange for the exact same battery model, and couldn't simply pay the difference for a better one. This policy is, frankly, lacking and customer-unfriendly. Despite my frustration, Romero remained calm and supportive, as did the other two individuals working alongside him. Their professionalism and empathy turned a potentially negative experience into a positive one. AutoZone, your battery return policy needs serious revision. However, your employees, especially Romero, deserve immense praise. They are the sole reason I'm giving this experience five stars. This Auto Zone location has by far exceeded any other in customer service Thanks to the wonderful Ms Tasha who went above and beyond quickly stepped into action to find the battery I needed because it wasn’t in system then She installed it for me without me having to ask I’ve bought other battery’s at other stores I usually bring it home and have my spouse install it then I have to go back to get the core deposit. I was that customer who walked in 10 minutes till closing and let me just say, Ben and Virginia were absolutely outstanding! Best customer service I have genuinely ever experienced! I had a minor crisis with my vehicle and they went above and beyond, including staying after closing time to help me find exactly what I needed! I even had to hug them on my way out haha! I honestly never foresee myself going or commuting to another auto zone but this one anymore. Thank you Ben and Virginia for being so knowledgeable and providing such stellar service!
