OfficeMax — Local services in Macedonia

I’ve been a customer at this location for years, mainly to purchase ink for my home computer printer. This store always has a large variety of printer ink in terms of brand names, different printer models, size, and how many ink cartridges in a pack. The prices are fair for what they have. This store always has the ink cartridges I need. Service has been good and knowledgeable and friendly. The only issue I’ve had with the service is conflicting information about promos. I came here two times earlier this month and two cashiers told me different things about this promo where you bring ten empty ink cartridges per month to get credits or rewards on my OfficeMax account. It could be a training issue, though best to ask customer service. This is not the first time I had this kind of experience. Nevertheless I will continue buying printer ink...

I have shopped OfficeMax for many years, but I have never experienced such unfriendly, nonhelpful, cold person in all the years that I have shopped there. I have always received great, helpful service. The gentelman that waited on me was very short and cold in the way that he communicated. I have always worked as a service person in my entire career. Never would I treat a person the way that the worker (manager) there did at the OfficeMax on Aurora Road. i have shopped at OfficeMax in multiple areas all over, even out of town. I was very upset when I left. He did not seem to care in what he said and the way that he said it. I was requesting some information, and his patience was very short. I asked one employee if I could step behind the counter to read the ink boxes because I was having trouble seeing them. He said go ahead and while I was back there an older gentleman came behind me and snapped at me that I should not be back there (the other employee was still next to me at the other counter). I said sorry and asked him for help to find what I needed. He said "every store carries something different" refusing to help me and brushing me off like it wasn't his problem. We spent 300+ dollars on a new printer and ink (that I'm still not sure is the correct one). The gentleman was an older caucasian man and he has no customer service skills.
