HORRIBLE!!! NOT WHAT IS USED TO BE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I patronized this placed today based on a good experience in years past. This place is horrific now. The food was equivalent to any neighborhood Japanese joint---not as I remembered. To top it off the gratuity was $22.99 AND they charged $5+ to use my bank card, nearly an additional $30 for 2 kids and 2 adults each meal about $30 each. ALSO, I HAD ALREADY TIPPED THE COOK ---- THAT DID NOT DO ANYTHING ENTERTAINING LIKE THE COOK IN MY PREVIOUS VISIT. Now this, I would and have spent for service and food worthy of it, even IF the restaurant atmosphere and ambiance was worthy BUT YOU TELL ME, IF A RESTAURANT WITH A SHOWER CURTAIN ON A SHOWER CURTAIN ROD HANGING UP VISIBLY FROM TGE DINING AREA IS WORTHY OF ANY TYPE OF GRATUITY, LET ALONE AND AUTOMATIC GRATUITY. I DIDN'T INITIALLY NOTICE THE SHOWER CURTAIN. THE WAITRESS FIRST GAVE ME A BILL WITH AND EXTRA $22.99 GRATUITY THEN WHEN I GAVE HER MY CARD TO PAY THE BILL SHE RETURNED WITH A RECEIPT WITH AN EXTRA $5 FEE. I BELIEVE THEY ARE JUST RIPPING PEOPLE OFF---PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE OR ANY RESTAURANT WITH THE NAME FUJI, FOR FEAR OF AFFILIATION.

I WILL GLADLY PAY FOR SERVICE WORTHY.

We've been here in the past & it was good. Tonight we came and that WAS NOT our experience. Our server was VERY rude. My husband asked a question about what choices were included in the 5 course dinner. The server responded with, "you can't share that." So I said to her, well that's fine, but his question was what MEAT OPTIONS does he have. She didnt seem to appreciate me clarifying his question. I got green tea, she never refilled it & never came back to the table after dropping off the soup & salad. The hostess cleared away our dishes.

Patrick was our chef. He didn't bother to introduce himself, I had to ASK what his name was. I ordered steak (medium) & shrimp while hubby had teriyaki chicken. No tricks, no frills, so that was fine. HOWEVER, he severely overcooked my steak. It was LITERALLY inedible, but my dogs will love it! The veggies were literally burnt, so I didnt eat that either. He asked how his cooking tasted. I didn't answer. Server came back to drop off the check & asked the other couple if they wanted boxes, but said nothing to me. As she dropped the check off, I asked politely for a box. I got the 6 course meal, but wasn't offered my dessert and only given my check.

We WILL NOT EVER COME BACK & should have went to Toyko Japan in Medina.

As a former server, I tend to tip closer to 25 or 30%, but they didn't even get 10% since the veggies were burnt, steak overcooked and the server had a TERRIBLE attitude. I at least wanted to give the chef something, since the shrimp...

We come here for every birthday every year. It’s always top of the line delicious. Legit our fav place. Great portions and great service. We never mind paying about $37 a person out the door. Unfortunately at our yearly visit this year we noticed they changed their steak to an obviously cheaper cut of meat. But kept all the prices the same. The steak was disgusting to say the least. Extremely THIN and BITEY!! We were soooo disappointed. We asked for all our steaks to be medium and there was 6 of us. Once the cook pulled out the pancake steaks and put them on he went around the table to confirm how we all wanted our steaks again. He kept those steaks on the grill for probably 10 mins while he cooked everything else. They were very well done to say the least. Very very disappointed in our experience here this year. If you are going to buy cheap steak and charge $25 for it, at least make sure the cook knows how to make a steak. Lastly, we noticed they pre scoop the Ice cream and put it in the bowls in the freezer uncovered OR they are refreezing peoples left over ice cream. We got orange sherbet with our meals and it was melted but re frozen inside the bowl...DISGUSTING. Unfortunately we won’t...
