The selection in this store is good, but that's all it has going for it. The staff is a huge drawback. The manager's family (husband/partner and daughter) were in the store once when I was there and they REEKED of marijuana. I've visited the store at least 5 times, and every time they have had crappy attitudes. They make you feel like you're bothering them when you need help. They whisper to each other while customers are around, which is just creepy and unprofessional. The manager is the worst. If you have coupons or they're running promotions it's up to YOU to figure out which deal is best. They will not give you the best deal automatically, they'll charge you the most they can. It happened to me once. Sometimes it's difficult to know which discount would be better, and other stores will help you at checkout. Not this one! I also was overcharged when using Haute Cash once, and had to return to the store and show them they overlooked one of my coupons (there were two stapled together that they counted as one). It's sad because I love their clothes, but I'm hoping a new Torrid that just opened near me will have a similar selection and better staff so I don't have to deal with these...
Read moreThis store use to be so welcoming and comfortable to be in, like if it were family. I definitely think this new 2020 staff roster and their rotation could do better. I have been a VIP DIVA STYLES member since I was 16 and now 29..... most of the stores are spot on with the personality. This one lately hasnt been it and its really bad for people like myself. I walked out because the vibe was so negative. Im posting for corrective criticism. I won't name names, but it was definitely the entire staff. No general care in assistance, laughing loudly and caring about personal conversation verses helping myself or the 2 others whom walked in behind me.

When I made the purchase the representative noticed my email was incorrect and that I had 2 different accounts and I was told this was corrected while they did have my correct phone number. Only when I went to pick up since no one answers the phone, I was told my money was refunded and the items were placed back on racks, accept my money has not yet transmitted back to me.. I live several counties away but appreciated and respected this business for the items and service. My feelings are hurt that this business meant more to me than I do as a loyal customer. I'm 100% sure it took more effort to return my items than simply pick up their phone to call me. I understand all they could offer is for me to repurchase but not even an apology.
