Dollar Tree — Local services in Madeira Beach

Everything's a dollar. I've never been here before and stopped for a sink stopper. Lowe's charges 9-14$ depending on if you get two or one. Thought I'd stop here and see if they had one and they did $1.00. Lots of things here from cleaning, household, food, books, bathroom, personal hygiene etc. Everything's a dollar. Thought it would be my go to store as cheap items that are great items. I'm no shopper, I despise shopping. Wasn't packed. 3 problems. Upon entering there were two employees sitting in front of the door smoking. Had to walk through it. Don't care if you smoke, but don't think you should be in front of the entrance; especially if you are a employee. Go to the curb, or eight feet away from the door. The store is on the corner of the strip mall, so walk around the corner, or to it. The store is not that big. Therefore I would think if you worked there you would know what they had, if asked. I heard someone ask if they had window shades for the vehicle; they said no. He went and looked, they did. If he turned and left, there would of been a lost sale. If you purchase something for others like toothpaste or hair brushes or books that you think they would like and if they don't.... It's a no return store. Didn't know this and had told the cashier I'd never been there before and I loved it. That should of been her clue to tell me it's a no return policy just to let me know, when she saw that I had five hairbrushes and five tooth paste. Now I know. So I'll be set for the next decade in hairbrushes and toothpaste. Now you know so don't be nice and purchase for others. Just for self 😉😂😉. Then you can't go wrong. Live and learn. If I could give a zero I would. A employee was standing outside the store smoking a cigarette right in front of the entrance. I get out of my car and get my dog (which is a service dog) out of the car. I am at least 20 feet from entrance still next to my car as employee with cigarette asked me(in a very loud voice) if I am going to enter the store, I said yes I was. She quickly stated you are not allowed in the store. I then asked why? She said we don't allow dogs. I calmly say it's ok she is a service dog. She asked me what TRICKS my service dog does? I was at this point in shock... She then asked me if my dog has appropriate vest to distinguish that she is . She does but under law she may not ask me to put her vest on her . You may want to train your staff on discrimination. My dog doesn't do tricks and is small calm and trained. I said that's ok I will take my business elsewhere, she flicked her cigarette didn't apologize and went back into the store. I was running in there to get batteries as it was closest store. I will never enter another dollar tree and I have never been so disgusted by...

Up until today this store has been my go to dollar tree store but….. they have a cashier in there long blackish brown hair short and stubby, today while checking out I asked her what is the correct button for credit is it green? Her response “I would assume so.” Then when I was leaving I pushed my cart towards the wall where the solar lights were as I always do and when I was walking towards the door she rushed out and pushed the cart across the floor behind me to crash into another cart the was parked diagonal from the front door. I immediately turned around and said “IM SORRY” because she could have hit me with it if I had of been walking slower she would have hit me. When I said I’m sorry she replied Oh your fine.
