This is a nice beach and is centrally located to many attractions such as restaurants and hotels. If you're traveling and want the full Florida experience of places like Tampa/St. Pete, then this is a good place to come and close to other attractions like St. John's pass. Having read many other reviews on the Madeira Beach, people mentioned white sand, which is puzzling. The sand on this beach has a lot of black aggregate in it. If you want to see white sand beaches, you'll have to head further down the coast line to places like Siesta Key Beach. Hopefully, people won't write reviews just for the sake of being on the top of the review list for views.

There is meter style parking and you can download the app to your phone to pay for parking as well, which allows for you to easily add additional time to your parking right from your phone, so you can stay on the beach without going back up to feed a meter. There is direct and easy beach access from the parking lot. The beach is clean and beautiful and peaceful. The water is blue and amazing. A school of fish swam all around me (about 50 fish right at my feet). There were chairs and umbrellas that you can rent on the beach, but you can bring your own. The water was perfect temperature and not cold. I didnt qont to leave!! Amazing beach! Loved it!!

★SUNSETS★ Best public access in Madeira Beach Florida. I may be a little biased since this is also less than a block away from my house. But I truly think it is one of the best kept up public access locations in the area. The showers are also a nice amenity for rinsing off the salt water and sand after a day at the beach, and there are also public restrooms, actual restrooms, not porta potties. And for all of you amateur photographers, this beach access is one of the best places to watch the sunset over the watery horizon as the day comes to an end. The "green flash" is often seen from this location.

Improved Version Madeira Beach, Florida, is a resilient jewel, weathered by the fierce blows of Hurricanes Milton and Helene. These storms caused over a billion dollars in damage, yet the indomitable spirit of this coastal treasure remains intact. For me, Madeira Beach is more than a destination—it's a vault of cherished memories. Warm summer nights come to mind, filled with laughter, playing Putt-Putt at 2 a.m. with Joe, and unwinding at The Daiquiri Deck. The community’s unwavering unity in the face of hardship is truly inspiring. Despite the storms, Madeira Beach retains its timeless charm. The salty air carries the whispers of past joys and the unyielding hope of brighter days to come. It’s a place where nostalgia thrives, and the pulse of the beach beats stronger than ever—a poignant reminder of its enduring beauty and strength.

A fun place to visit or stay for a few days. I recommend at least an overnight stay, there’s lots to do. Plenty of eateries, ice cream shops, and shopping. The beach is fun, they have outdoor showers but did not notice any changing rooms except for the public restroom. Parking is a must and unless you are just standing for a short while, you’re best bet is to pay for your parking spot. There are Meter Police constantly scouting for expired times. This place lost a star due to limited Parking on peak times and No changing rooms by the Beach.
