Madeira Beach Access — Attraction in Madeira Beach

They raised the parking fee to 2.50 per hour. Lol likely because there are less people. Haven't been going for my weekly 5.5 mile walk due to Coved shutdown followed by mega overtime not allowing weekend my time. Apparently tourism is down because I've returned to the walking and the beach trash is far diminished. I'll be bringing my picker and bucket next week again though. People must be hearing Florida is open for business cause trash on the beach is on an uptick. Just wish people would respect the natural beauty you came here to enjoy. If you bring it on the beach, TAKE IT OFF THE BEACH WHEN YOU LEAVE. Just sayin'. Thank you

So I've finally been back to walking but only 3.5 miles. Glad to report the amount of trash has decreased, but it would be really nice if people put their cigarette butts in the trash. I love going to this beach because it is NEVER over crowded. The sound of the waves are really nice and for the most part, its 98% adults so you dont have to worry about noisy kids. Although, there is that rare 2% when people bring kids they NEED TO CONTROL because one time this couple came and the 2 kids were about 5 and they let them scream and cry for hours with no stop. I hate people like that!!! But, other than that, the water is gorgeous, the sky is remarkable, the women are cute and you can get a GREAT TAN, without getting burnt because the sun doesn't feel overly hot at this beach. The water is always refreshing and feels amazing and serene every visit. The parking is $2/hour which is a great deal!!! I usually stay 4 to 5 hours because I love the environment and pricing of the parking. Parking is limited to about 50 to 60 cars roughly so if you have many ppl, please consider car...

We had a great time. Be sure to get there early so you can get a parking spot and a nice spot on the beach. We got there at 9am and was able to get a close parking spot and a nice, close spot on the beach. The water is clear and the sand is white. There is minimal seaweed and shells so you can walk with no shoes with no problem. They do have umbrellas, cabanas and chairs you can rent. Umbrellas and cabanas are $25 each and they come with 2 chairs. You can rent just the chairs for $8 each. Umbrellas are by the water where the cabanas are in the back by the tall grass and they wont let you move them. We brought our own umbrella and chairs but also rented a cabana. Parking is $2 an hour and you can prepay several hours in advance but it is confusing at first. We paid till 4pm but only ended up...
