We had a great time. Be sure to get there early so you can get a parking spot and a nice spot on the beach. We got there at 9am and was able to get a close parking spot and a nice, close spot on the beach. The water is clear and the sand is white. There is minimal seaweed and shells so you can walk with no shoes with no problem. They do have umbrellas, cabanas and chairs you can rent. Umbrellas and cabanas are $25 each and they come with 2 chairs. You can rent just the chairs for $8 each. Umbrellas are by the water where the cabanas are in the back by the tall grass and they wont let you move them. We brought our own umbrella and chairs but also rented a cabana. Parking is $2 an hour and you can prepay several hours in advance but it is confusing at first. We paid till 4pm but only ended up staying until 2.
