KAY Jewelers — Local services in Madison

The employees are super nice if your in the market to purchase something from them!!! Otherwise dont waste your time at this kays!! Long time member/cardholder and this particular store is not a good experience!! Ive bought thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from kays not Madison,In kays..last month went in to pay my bill, got my ring inspected while there, go back the following month to pay bill and get cleaning which is a joke at this store!!! And she said one my stones were loose so she had send it off in the mean time my wife walked in from shopping next door (sallys) and i was doing paperwork for my ring i told my wife she should get her ring cleaned and a xmas ring i purchased sized, when she was inspecting my wife ring before cleaning she called an associate over and they were whispering so i walked up to see if there was a problem and of course there wasnt she just couldnt see the stones although she had no problem seeing mine on my wedding band..she was just whispering and showing the lady something is what i was told!!! Which i took serious offense to!!! And of course it was huff and puff the whole time and judge by how you look not who you are!!! Already looking for new jeweler!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had regarding jewelry. I had received a ring that was half a size too big so I asked Kayes to downsize. The woman working kept insisting that the ring needed to be bigger and it wouldn’t fit if we downsized. I explained to her multiple times that I wanted it downsized. When I finally got my ring back after a FULL MONTH it was too big and would slid right off my finger. I brought it back in to be downsized again and they downsized it to the original size instead of half a size smaller like I had previously explained. Kaye’s shipped my ring off to downsized and it took another WHOLE MONTH to get my ring back for the second time. I have had the ring in my possession for LESS THAN 3 WEEKS and it the band snapped where Kaye’s had saudered the band twice. So overall I had paid nearly $300 for Kaye’s to babysit my ring for 2 months and never fixing their mistake, then for it to snap IN HALF a few weeks later. Highly do not recommend.
