GameStop — Local services in Madison

They ripped down there GameStop sign the rip down their stickers off the windows and it's insane sad and shame but bankrupt game stop look up online and YouTube video ther bank rupt got in the top comments on Google saying is all true but the employees were just saying that just to make look like they are moving to plaza but they're not they're just bit mess to people and the employees know their aunt has came and the GameStop closing and there ain't no going to be no more location and by March they all going to be closed all the game stops and we all be crying and missing him to death some people still were buying in stores and some hasn't and it's a sad that everything's going digital I'm going to miss GameStop GameStop was my favorite place to go and that's where I always went for my daily basis I enjoyed buying buying trading buying switches buying xboxes Xbox games so I'll ever done there and I enjoy it and bought some cards off there to buy points and stuff it's pretty cool we miss you GameStop wish you very best reopening soon if that ever happens hopefully GameStop becomes rich again and opens a bunch of locations in your future we do not know that for sure or sadly miss you GameStop I'm so obsessed...

So there's this chick, i think she said her name was Kate... katie??? Idk but she has brown hair, anyway she is literally the nicest and most knowledgeable employee working there. This girl deserves a raise. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and was beyond understanding when my card got decided. She didn't make a face or anything, she just patiently waited for me to get out cash. She greeted me when I walked in (she's the only one that does this, and I know bc I go there a LOT in search of pokemon cards) and she always thanks me for coming in when I leave. It's a GameStop. I can say as a whole, the upper management needs to hire more employees to speed up check out and trade ins. Not a hit at this location, just in general. Shouldn't take an hour to trade in one game.

That being said, the employees are doing their best with the staffing issues. The hours are a little hit and miss, but with no coverage for lunches, I get it. You can't expect one person to run an entire store all day. I don't blame the employees or the local management. GameStop is just failing on a corporate level.

Tldr; fine place to grab a game, terrible place to do...
