Ann, the local historian who runs the house, was a perfect host - she answered my questions and shared oodles of interesting facts from the history of the house and the Madison of the 1880s through the 1950s or so. This is a wonderful aspect of the history of Madison and well worth a visit for locals.

VERY LATE 1800'S TYPE OF LIVE MUSEUM. You are going to love stopping by this place for a history lesson of the area, any one of their socials, for any concerts and don't forget the yard sale during the yearly Monona wide garage sales, Very true to era...
