Since I first started writing about my trips to Madison, Bonnie at Penelope’s Covered Blessings has been a reader. Opening up her faith-based gift and wig shop just to accommodate our schedule, Bonnie and her husband Nathan welcomed my wife and me with open arms. ✝️

Recently my wife was in contact with a friend who lost her hair while battling cancer. I reached out to Bonnie and she jumped into action, offering her the full backing and support of her business. It was incredible! 😮

During our visit Bonnie and Nathan shared stories and told us about their family. We learned about their history and their journey with the store. She explained the ‘Prayers and Praises’ board on the wall, the Texan artisans that make the charcuterie boards they sell, and all about the high-tech wigs they offer.

Always one to play with hair, my wife sat for Bonnie as she gave her a fitting and demonstrated the proper way to don a wig and make adjustments. Going blonde, then copper, she eventually got to pink! 🩷
