KEEP YOUR RECEIPT if you unfortunately choose to use this specific location to purchase your jewelry!!! They do not honor your warranty at any location without your original receipt. - Summary of the story.
The customer service here is -5/10! By far the worst I’ve ever received and I use to spend my GOOD HARD EARNED money here , over 2k , I needed a replacement bracelet still within my extended warranty as the clasp broke & the associate immediately had a nasty attitude when “helping” me , the “valued customer”.
The bright red dread head “manager” proceeded to tell me that she “had to fire all the previous employees because they were not honoring their story policies correctly.” After I could not provide my original receipt and did not receive the “mandatory email” that has an email copy of the original purchase , she told me I was out of luck.
I asked if you just said you had to fire all your previous employees because they were not honoring policy, what makes you actually assume they wrote my email correctly, mind you my name is not common. She took her frustration of the fired employees out on me & proceeded to literally YELL AT ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MALL when I mentioned I would be leaving a review of her customer service saying “That’s fine honey , I get all the the reviews anywayy, have a good dayy” (S.N- Hi girll 👋🏽 yes I honor my word of leaving a review unlike your ability to honor my warranty since you felt the need to say that)
I understand if they could not help me with my replacement, but there is a level of professionalism that has to be instilled in you to work with the general public , especially CUSTOMERS that help fund your paycheck.
The bright red dread head lady displayed that perhaps she should work as a veterinarian where she can bark back at her patients & stop playing around with people who just need help with an “honored warranty”
I did visit the Fairfax location after this & they couldn’t honor my warranty without the original receipt either but the associate was VERY kind and felt bad about what I went through at the Manassas location. She was very enthusiastic and even helped me come up with an alternate solution to put my bracelet together USING THE HARDWARE THEY SELL (another thing the red dread head “manager” did not even offer) if you choose to purchase with Banter please KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!! And if you have a choice , visit the Fairfax location, if you see the red dread head lady just trey again another day honestly 🤷🏽♀️
This experience made me so sad because I love supporting members of my community but I won’t let her bad attitude kill my spirit...
Read moreI got my ears pierced here about 3 years ago, and my ears still haven't healed completely! The place wasn't very sainitary and the people there were very impatient and rude towards me. I was very jumpy because I hate pain (but still wanted a second piercing) so they did the first ear okay, but for the second one she did it very quickly and at an angle (so now when I put in earring in for that peircing it has to go in a weird angle inside my earlobe). For almost two years after it would bleed very easily and was very painful to the touch for almost the entire first year. The cleaning solution they gave me, actually made it worse, once I stopped using it, my ears started to finally heal a tiny bit. I could go on forever about the pain and nusicance these peircings has been for the past few years, but the point is that this place isn't very porfessional or clean and you'd be better off spending your money at a better place like Claire's or a tattoo shop. (Also, piercing guns are very bad for cartilage piercings so if that's what you're looking for definetly go to a tattoo shop where they do piercings...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would I bought a necklace for my daughter about a month ago. Sadly the necklace broke, luckily I bought the warranty. Only to find out they had given me a 20” chain but on the receipt it was listed as a 16”. Forgive me I don’t walk around with a ruler in my pocket. Come to find out the assistant manager Jennifer I think her name is, is the one who sold me the chain now I’m being told that it can’t be fixed. The chain has the pagoda stamp on the jewelry and I have no other purchases in the system. If the assistant manager would get off her phone long enough she’d know what...
