Grill Kabob — Restaurant in Virginia

I decided to try this place out (going against my first thoughts) and have to say this was my first and last time. I asked the cashier for a veggie platter with chickpeas, rice, and spinach. However yo my diay, the cashier lacked English and didn't know what I meant by spinach . I then pointed to the menu which listed spinach as a side for $4.99 and asked if it was just today or always because the menu shows. By the look on her face, she was annoyed and went to the back to ask someone . She then came back up front and said again that there was no spinach. I asked her again if this was everyday (for future reference) or just today. She clearly didn't understand what I was saying so after asking in Spanish she gave me the answer of "never". Fine. So she rang me up and the total came to $5.29... I paid and then was handed a small cup of what appeared to be chickpeas.. I told her that I wanted a veggie platter with rice . She THEN proceeded to ring up a side of rice for $5.29!! I left with the cup of chickpeas because I was NOT paying that much for a measly side of white rice.

Needless to say, my first mistake was going to the mall and giving this place a try when I knew it wouldn't go well. 🙄

I was feeling extra picky today, starved all day and wasn't settling for anything less than fresh.

Grill Kabob hit the spot, let me tell you. Each bite had me taking deep breaths as I was enjoying the savory flavors of the beef and chicken I ordered as part of a meal, which included rice and salad.

The bread is so real! It's so nice and chewy. It goes great with every bite.

The meal was more than enough for me, I could only finish half of the protein!

There was a small wait since it was thrown on the flame grill as I ordered.

I have gone 3 times and this is my last. I seem to always be the “only” customer. First time was ok except they didn’t have spinach which was on the menu. The second time they didn’t have spinach but they did manage to sneak a single hair into my rice. This third and last time they didn’t have spinach but they did have very poor attitudes and dropped a piece of my lamb on the floor with no compensation.
