I would suggest make an appointment with a specific person. If not, you will be considered a walk in appointment. And they will treat you any kind of way. My experience was a technician completed my gel pedicure and started my acrylic fill in. In the middle of our discussion about my nails she saw a client she knew. She stopped screamed with excitement as she ran to hug the other client, removed me from her chair and sat me in someone else's chair. No explanation beside "Someone else will do for you now." So now I re-explain everything I want all over again to a new technician. She didn't do a good job at all the acrylic was lumpy and shape was off center. When I told her she laughed and said "that's because of your fingers." Ive gotten my nails done over 20 years and I know what can be done and what can't. She either didn't have the skills to do a good job, or the expectation is just be happy with what I do. She couldn't do my design so I was sent to another chair. As I sat and look at my lumpy unevenly shaped nails I couldn't take.I didn't feel comfortable paying for that work.I asked to speak with the manager but another lady came and she herself aggreed the work was not good. I even had hair stuck in my polish. The lady that applied the acrylic began roughly removing it along with giving small cuts on the cuticle. The manager, came and applied acrylic flawlessly. I explained to her my experience that day wasn't the best. She told me that the first tech had an appointment she forgot about. I don't believe that. Ive seen how this place is ran, they are very organized. But if she did in fact forget the way it was handled was very unprofessional and I will never step foot in this establishment again due to my experience that day.
Also when I originally called to make an appointment I asked for a specific person who was booked. I said ok, I'll try someone else. When I asked how they gave me she said don't worry we will take...
Read moreHonestly I was surprised to get such bad service. I called in to check if they weren’t too busy to take me, my mother and my sister. The lady who answered the phone said no, to come in.
My mother and sister arrived before me and were attended but they told me it was packed. My mother got a pedicure and hated it. Unfortunately no one wears name tags so I don’t know the lady who did my mother’s pedi. She was an older lady though. She rushed the entire thing and because of it, it caused her to do a terrible job.
My sister got manicure and pedicure. The girl who did hers was a younger girl and actually took her time and did great with the toes. Side note: The younger girl did so much more for my sister than the other lady did for my mother but charged the exact same for the toes?
My sisters nails were done at the pedicure station (assuming because they were busy) but by a different lady. The fact that she did them while my sister was at the pedi section it was a weird position for the mail tech and of course that resulted in sloppy work. Leaving bubbles all over her nails.
As for me! I was seated at the pedicure section at 1:40 and was not helped until 2:20pm. (Not to mention someone was helped right next to me and before me when I arrived before them!)
All that wait only for the lady to come over and take off my color and then leave me stating she was going to go take lunch really quickly, leaving me to waiting for more time.
When she came back she apologized but with all the respect; if I am paying for a service I shouldn’t have to wait on someone to go to lunch.. there should be someone else to attend me.
I was going to get my nails done here as well but the poor service made me completely change my mind. I don’t want to risk them messing up my nails. Especially for my birthday...
Read moreI wanted to like this salon because it was closer to me however, I’m still crying from the nail job I experienced here. I walked in and received an acrylic overlay and remove the current nails I had. I asked to get them soaked off and instead of doing that he removed the acrylic nails with a fake nail which caused one of my real nails to break off. Very devastating as this never happened to me before. Told the tech to make them look as natural as possible and to NOT make them bulky and thick and he did the opposite of what I asked. He could not paint my nails properly and stay inside the lines without having to wipe and clean off around the edges with a brush dipped in acetone. My pinky nail was filed too fast and was sliced in the corner so when he cleaned the polish around it with acetone it burned which was extremely painful. Very amateur experience. I cried in the car on how horrible and bulky my nails are. This was not a great experience and I wont be going back.
Update:
The manager reached out to me and invited me to return for a redo and sincerely apologized for the previous experience. I truly appreciate their responsiveness and effort to address the matter. During my visit, a new technician provided gentle care with my nails. She also offered guidance on selecting the most suitable finish coat for my nails and changed the shape to a more feminine natural look. The tech shaped my nails and reduced the bulk and thickness as best she could. Thank you Vivian Nails for taking the time to address my concerns and resolve the issue. I will definitely be returning...
