Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Virginia

I walked in with my daughter yesterday 7/30 around 6 and there were 2 young ladies working (no gloves or masks I understand that masks aren’t a requirement but when you are reaching so close to the ice cream you should be wearing a mask and definitely gloves touching ppls food). Then 2 young gentlemen walked in from their breaks and neither one washed their hands and one of them was either trying to pull his hair out of his face or wiping sweat off his forehead either way neither one washed their hands or put gloves on and started serving the guests. Even before covid or monkey pox or anything else people working with food were required to wash their hands at least and now with everything going on it should be mandatory to wash and wear gloves and masks while serving food. I used to come there often but stopped because that place isn’t clean no one cleans up the tables and chairs after families leave. There’s dead bugs on the floor, bathrooms are nasty sand they don’t practice safe hygiene manners. That store is ran by teens or super careless young managers. Needless to say we walked out and will not be coming back and it’s sad because I’ve been in Manassas for 17 yrs and have been coming to Cols...

On 8/10 I went in to get ice cream and was excited to go in since I hadn’t been in awhile. Now I know why I haven’t been in awhile. I was about to change my order because sometimes I’m a bit indecisive and I didn’t know she was already making it. When I saw she was making it I said never mind because I didn’t want to waste product and I know I was still going to like what I got. I could have gone without her and the girl next to her giving me a rude look. They made me feel inconsiderate for almost wanting to change my mind. If I could read their mind based on their look it would have been “I know this girl is not about to change her mind, she better not.” THAT WASN’T THE WORST PART. Then the staff all started arguing about someone coming in late to their shift or something like that because they other one wanted to go home. They are unprofessional and they all need a supervisor to help control them. Also, on their phones and then going to touch the ice cream. Not really sanitary. Please get a supervisor because these are young adults or teenagers that I don’t think understand good customer service. I would know, I was a manager before and have been in customer service...

I gotta say I was super disappointed in the service I received around 9pm -10pm today April 9th. I am a door dasher, this is my 2nd pickup here, I have never had any problems getting waited on before. There were 4 people working the line, a young lady who wouldn't step my way, a young man who did everything he could do, not to wait on me. That he ran immediately to the person behind me. The only person that approached me, was the young nice gentleman who waited on me before, with longer hair. The thing I didnt get was, I was just picking up an order that was already completed. (A 2 min "pass the bag" procedure) To the young man who didnt want to wait on me: you made me feel very uncomfortable, Made me feel like I wasn't a person trying to do a job. Made me feel like I would never take my family in here. You made my door dash late, I work in food service too on my regular job.
