This review is just a heads up for anyone shopping in the home department. It's hard to find the actual department, go to the far right corner of the store in the very back. If you find an item you want please please open it up and check to be sure it's in descent condition as well as including all parts. You would think the staff checks these things during the return process, but they do not.
Just drove 40 minutes away to this location yesterday for a blender that was on sale for 160 bucks. My stupid pregnant self didn't grab a cart and waited in the check out line for nearly 10 minutes holding it, then this morning when I went to use it I learned it had already been used. The blender cup is damaged AND dirty, so is the base. Not to mention it's missing pieces. I can't tell if it's molded, oily, or maybe both.
Planning on returning the item today at hopefully a different location. Will not be back to this store. There were only 2 on the self and the other one had shipping tape all over the box from being a...
   Read moreMy recent visit to the Kohlâs in Manchester, Missouri was absolutely terrible. The store is depressing â employees looked miserable, glued to their phones, and clearly uninterested in helping anyone. It has gone completely downhill.
To make matters worse, the Amazon return desk was shoved all the way in the back of the store, forcing me to drag my large returns through the entire place. Itâs obvious Kohlâs doesnât even want this Amazon partnership, but customers like me are forced to deal with it. When I finally reached the associate, there was no greeting, no smile â just an attitude that I was an annoyance. On top of that, she reeked of cigarette smoke so badly I nearly gagged.
This reflects terribly not only on Kohlâs but also on Amazon. Kohlâs is actively damaging Amazonâs reputation by running its stores like this. I expect a call from the Kohlâs Manchester store manager to explain how this level of customer service is...
   Read moreI really like the new look, I hadnât been in a while and itâs nice to have a Sephora in there! The store has been around for a long time but still looks modern. I am leaving one star off because I went recently to do a return and ask about online pick up, and the associate who helped me seemed really bothered by me being there. Iâve worked in retail and I know that look of âoh great, another customerâ. The trick to customer service is that the customer isnât actually supposed to know you feel that way. But she did take care of my return and point me in the direction of pick up. I also really like the process of self pick up!
Update: giving back the star because tonight I went into the Sephora area and had some really great help! I wish I had asked her name, but she had really pretty gold glasses and was there by herself Monday February 26th at 8pm. She helped me with the drunk elephant products and...
