Well last night was our SECOND time visiting this place. Im a huge lover of Mediterranean food, so from the first time (not really the most memorable either, was during covid season so perhaps they were just grateful for business from anyone at that time) visiting the food was very good. Well my how things (or people ) change..So last night alil over a year later my fiance and I walk in and stand there for a few and none of the people working directly in the front speak or greet us. But then the same person we had our first time came and seated us with a warm smile and immediately after being seated a few of the men who appeared to be owners or managers continued to just stare at us. I also observed other patrons looking onward as if they were trying to figure out if we actually knew where we were and what the menu consisted of. Fast forward all the usual complimentary starters were not brought out to us immediately once we sat down. However I did observe that to be routine with other(s) who came into the restaurant who were obviously not from my ethnic group. When we did recieve our complimentary starter the portions of the beet dip and black bean dip were very small (the first time we had very nice portions) and once the appetitizer I ordered (kebbeh) arrived (and we'd waited a nice time for it to come out) some were actually still ice cold in the middle! I flagged one of the guys down and explained to him that they werent cooked all the way or heated up all the way...Mind you the place was NOT BUSY at all and when our main entrees arrived...I had a mixed grille..my fiance had lamb chops...our food was luke warm at best some of my food had definitely been twice cooked and some of it even burned...All the while we are watching others being thanked for their business...lots of smiles and prompt service. We felt extremely uncomfortable...But the waitress made our drinks so well that I was buzzed and chill so we finished our drinks and prepared to leave. We wanted to stay and watch the belly dancer do her thing but we decided we'd had enough of being watched but ignored all in one. I got to go containers and we expressed to our server how we really appreciated how she did her best to make sure we were ok ...But when we were leaving the man who was the manager /owner nor did any of the others say goodnight...thank you..or any apologies about undercooked food nothing!!!! That was the worse feeling ever...I dont want to bring race into this...But it truly did feel like we were treated as if they were offended that we even came in there period.....Soooooo thank you Rozzana's for making us feel like the SECOND visit and the $100+15%gratuity we spent wasnt really valued, wanted, or needed by your establishment we promise never to step foot back in...
Read moreWe went on a friend’s recommendation, and it was worth it. They had a private event going on inside, so asked us if we are comfortable sitting out. We asked if they can still manage us in, and they arranged a table. The staff also helped us understanding the menu & best options.
We were welcomed with variety of hummus (plain, black bean & beet root) & nan. Nan pieces were cold, but all the hummus were delicious. (See pic)
In main course, we ordered Shish Tawook plate & Vegetarian claypot. The chicken in shish tawook plate was amazingly tasty and tender. The garlic sauce in that plate was delicious!!
The surprise was the Vegetarian clay pot. It’s rare that I keep my chicken aside and go for the vegetarian option. Great taste & temperature. We loved it.
For dessert, we tried the Arabic icecream. Not your typical ice cream texture, but the combination of soft cold roll with crunchy pistachios and wooly crumble made it a heavenly dessert. Not toooo sweet, just as we wanted.
Overall - a great option for the Mediterranean food! They also have nicely decorated their front with the...
Read moreMy husband, daughter, and I made a noon reservation for Sunday, November 26, 2023. We were warmly greeted and seated to our table. Our server was very cordial, attentive, and professional. He was generous in offering us extra complimentary items that he saw we were enjoying. Everything we ate was very delicious, and was presented in such a beautiful way. The sauces were also amazing! We also enjoyed the very beautiful and cozy atmosphere. We ordered the following: APPETIZERS: *Kibbeh- (4 pieces of fried meat and burghal balls, stuffed with ground beef mixed with onions and Syrian spices)
*Falafel- (6 deep fried patties, made with ground chickpeas and onions; served with veggies and Tahiti sauce)
ENTREES: *Shish Tawook Plate (Two chicken skewers with rice and garlic sauce)
*Chicken Kafta Plate (Two chicken skewers of grilled chicken kafta with rice and garlic sauce)
*Lamb Kabob Plate- (Two skewers of grilled lamb kabob with rice and garlic sauce with grilled onions and tomato)
We definitely would highly recommend eating at Rozanna...
