Had a horrible experience at this Macy's, the staff were incredibly unhelpful. I spent at least an hour looking for luggage I was planning to purchase as a Christmas gift after a worker there saw me with it and asked if I were buying it. When I told her yes I in fact did plan on purchasing it she told me she had to bring it to the register and I could get it there when I was ready to check out. I then asked if there were only one register open so I didn't have to go to every single one in the store and she assured me that yes there was only one open so Inwouldnt have to search every register. When I went to check out I had to go to every register to find it and the first time I asked the lady at the register it was brought to if anyone brought it there she told me no. Only after I had gone to every other register and started going to all the registers for a second time was I able to spot the luggage I had wanted. When I grabbed it to bring it to an open register to pay for it, the same lady that had told me no luggage had been brought to that register the first time I asked had asked if that was mine cause she had to do something to it before I could purchase it because the woman who had brought it to the register told her she had to do something to it before it was purchased. However I sat there the entire time after that and she had not done anything special or different then I would have expected to happen at any other register. Also I had asked about a perfume and if they had anything similar that wasn't as expensive they said they didn't know and to check the discount section for perfume which was a total mess and was impossible to smell any of the perfumes in that section as they were all packaged and sealed. Very unhelpful staff and super expensive especially for the customer service given. If you don't have a lot of money or don't look like you have a lot of money, avoid this store because they will make your shopping experience much more complicated and nit be of any assistance even if you are going to spend money in...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I just moved into a new house. We were excited to buy new furniture and found a beautiful couch at Macy's. We tried ordering online several times, each time our order was immediately cancelled. No reason was given, other than our information may be wrong - it was not wrong any of those times. Luckily we got refunds after several days. Finally we went to the store to try to buy the couch from an associate there. Our associate did not speak English well, ordered us the wrong couch and entered our email wrong after making several mistakes on the computer. She did confirm our correct information once, lost it, and did not confirm with us after re entering it. Surprise, surprise we got the wrong couch delivered - half of what we ordered, on the wrong side, in the wrong color. Delivery refused to take it back with them. We called customer service immediately. They told us the couch that had been ordered for us was exactly what we were describing and a new couch, supposedly the correct one, was scheduled to be delivered soon thereafter with them assuring us they would take the wrong couch out with them then. Delivery showed up with the SAME wrong couch! We still have the wrong couch with us, as they couldn't take both out with them. We called again today and they told us that the store associate screwed up our order in the first place, that what was delivered was in fact our order, and that they will contact us again in 3-5 business days to schedule a pickup time to remove the couch we never wanted and then give us a refund. This is NOT what the last customer service rep told us! I am EXTREMELY disappointed with our service which has been rude, untimely, and incorrect throughout this whole ordeal. Read moreNEVER EVER EVER going to order furniture from this store again! AVOID! I will be sure everyone I know, knows not to order furniture from here again. We ordered expensive furniture and spent $200 on delivery services. We were promised a whole list of services including vacuuming and moving other furniture around. We have this proof in our email. Upon arrival these movers claimed they "could not carry the furniture" up our stairs. Meanwhile Ashley furniture had successfully done this just weeks before with BIGGER furniture than this set. So we knew they were just lying to us. They were lazy or crunched for time and did not want to finish the job. My fiance tried to help them by having them come through the back door but they still refused. They delivered half our furniture and while doing so, messed with our security camera so it could not monitor them. Then when my fiance told them to at least leave the furniture behind, they called him crazy, yelled at him and drove off with the rest of our expensive furniture STILL IN THE TRUCK! They literally couldve left it there with us at the very least but they drove off with our furniture, confiscating this new property of ours from us. While trying to resolve this issue, Macy's was no help and did not give us any information about them. My fiance took off work for this delivery and due to the laziness and unprofessionalism of this company, we now have to wait another week and take off more work to receive our furniture. The furniture that had already arrived at our house that they refused to let us keep. We only got 10% off our order for a large problem. NEVER COMING BACK! I wouldnt give this one...
