So I decided I wanted to go to Zinc for dinner again this past weekend since we had been there last Thursday and we had fallen in love with our waiter Tyler , who by the way , recommended everything we ordered for food that Thursday night and absolutely loved it. So we go on Sunday because of the amazing service we got from Tyler and asked if we could be seated where the cushioned chair with the fit pits are . The manager , who was an old male , said no because of social distancing . So he went ahead and seated 5 of us and we noticed another table with the fire pit and cushioned chairs who had 6 people with two random added chairs to it at the other corner . We then went ahead and asked Tyler if he could please get his manager again because we had no one at our corner so why couldn’t we be seated our our favorite spot . He came to our table and gave us some BS but really couldn’t give us an answer why they couldn’t sit us there. So he decided to walk away as my BF was still talking to him . He was totally rude and the guests I took were surprised as well because we weren’t being rude to him . Well I guess they are rolling in dough and they really didn’t need us dining in. We are regulars and want to support our local businesses but this establishment definitely needs a new manager , one with people skills . Brie and Pear Grilled Cheese was amazing! The Brie was creamy and melt-in-your mouth. The pear had a subtle taste that balanced the Brie's taste. The French baguette was toasted and had a bite that was crisp to perfection.
The Kalbi Tacos was good. It had a balanced taste of sweetness. I prefer the tortilla to be crispier though if.
The Seared Maine Diver Scallops was awesome! I love the texture of the risotto and how the taste and mix with the different herbs and butter made it taste exotically wonderful! I appreciate how perfectly poached the egg was. The scallop had a good sizing and portion. The taste and bite was perfect!
The Pan-roasted Scottish Salmon was succulent and scrumptious! The serving size of the salmon was very good. The texture was tender and the meat was juicy! The wild mushroom risotto was heavenly!

Came here for drinks on a Sunday afternoon with a friend, and we got seated within 5 minutes (we had no reservations). Try to find street parking otherwise there’s paid parking at the hotel. Credit cards accepted and they’ll bring the machine to you. Bathrooms are available inside the hotel, to the left (around the bar). Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
