I went in with high expectations from a friend.

The women at the counter was extremely frazzled and it showed to the customers. She said that it was VERY busy which scared me because there was 5 open tables. I ordered a chicken cheese steak and cheese fries with a soda.

The soda machine had no CO2 and no one knew how to change it. The only person that knew what to do came back as we were leaving. The chicken cheese steak was a chicken breast cut up with cheese. The bread the the best bread I have had in a long time for a sub. I was not expecting chicken breast which disappointment me a little. I was really excited for and expecting slivered chicken steak. DO NOT ORDER THE CHEESE FRIES..... The fries were good. The cheese on the other hand.... It tasted like jar cheese wiz microwaved and poured over the fries. The paper on top of the tray started peeling apart and sticking to the fries with cheese. Half of them went in the trash.

I was kind of very disappointed in my whole experience here. I might try it sometime, but not...

I finally made it to the Grille after hearing how good it was, and my only disappoint ment is that it took too long for me to eat there. It was delicious. I got the Staten Island which was Prosciutto, hot cappocollo, hot sopresatta, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, vinaigrette. My wife got the Fifth Avenue which is fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, tomato, vinaigrette. She loved hers as well. We split the sweet potato fries, that comes with a sweet, almost syrup like sauce that we enjoyed very much. The food came out very quickly and everything was very fresh. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant overall was very clean. Definitely one of the better sandwiches I've eaten in Lancaster in the 20 plus years I've lived here. A bonus is that it is byob and there is a great beer shop that shares an entrance with the Grille that has a huge selection of...

My boyfriend is new in town and decided to check out this place for lunch per my recommendation. Upon entering, he needed a minute to process the menu. The woman at the counter offered him a suggestion to which he agreed and asked for one special request (to have an item in the order on the side). After the order was placed, he was verbally ambushed by a cook from the back scorning him for asking to have the requested item on the side. This took place in front of a multitude of other customers which was embarrassing to my boyfriend. He chose to leave and never received a refund or an apology. I firmly regret my recommendation to send him here. As a small business owner myself, I would be absolutely ashamed to treat my respectful, paying customers with such irrational anger. I highly recommend going to another establishment for your sandwich needs until these employees fix...

We started coming here a few years ago and have always enjoyed the service and food! Not only is the establishment clean and welcoming, the food is quality and flavorful. Great portions, great prices! I’ve experienced the cheesesteaks in different ways (sauce on, sauce on side, wiz, American, onions, small, large, you name it) and every time it’s bomb! Will always recommend and share my experiences. Plus it’s a family owned local business, that makes it even better.

I was looking for a conveniently located cheesesteak for my visit from out of state and this hit the spot! In addition to great customer service, the food was delicious! It’s hard to describe fast food as fresh, but it was. I had a small cheesesteak (7”) with “eat-in fries” (smaller portion if you’re not super hungry), and it was the perfect amount. 10/10 would recommend!

Talk about a huge amount of different subs and sandwich options. Almost too many to look at once, not that that's a bad thing! The Buffalo Chicken wrap I got was awesome and their fries were just a good. Would definitely visit again. Plus they're BYOB and the Beer and Beverage Shop that they're connected to has a great selection of beer to choose from so it's a win/win.
